I have a question about board etiquette that I think others may have.
Is any criticism of Jon Peter Lewis considered bashing?
For instance, if he had an off note, or we didn't like one of his songs, or something about his clothing, or the album cover... is that considered bashing and therefore "not acceptable"?
Obviously, over-the-top "bashing" is unacceptable as this is a "fan forum"...
But is anything and everything negative considered bashing?
Also, some of the general use avatars scare the crap out of me due to their inherent creepiness. It's probably just me - I was also afraid of clowns as a child etc. etc. Anyhoo, will we be able to upload our own avatars at some point?

To answer both question, and If I'm wrong I would like a Mod to correct me... Critics will be tolorated, as long as they are not bashing... Like if you didn't like a song, you didn't like the song, but also don't harp on what you didn't like all the time, cuz that doesn't help, if you notice something that you didn't like feel free to tell us, as long as you are able to let it go after you do. No body is perfect and even athletes have off days and singers hit bad note.
For the other question... When you hit 50 Karma Points you can e-mail Mishtat (The address is in the FAQ Thread) and tell her that you reached 50 Karma Points, at which time she will turn on your custom Avatar option. Also when you reach 100 Karma Point, you can e-mail Mishtat again and tell her that you got to 100 Karma Points and she will turn on your custom signature option...
And just in case you are now wondering what Karma Points are, they are just something that came with the Groupee Forum, When you hit a certain level you get certain perks.. I do not know what will be after signature, but if you want to know, feel free to ask Mishtat..

The rules state that you may critique or criticize music, but you may not criticize the artist personally. This is Jon's private site, and so we would like to keep it a positive place. People who would like to criticize the artist personally are free to join one of the many public forums where it is acceptable. However, you are certainly free to state that you do not like a particular song or performance, lyrics, etc. You may comment on clothing or album covers as well. It is indeed the "over the top bashing" that we are trying to avoid. I think that is a great question. Thank you for asking it.
