That's not a valid link. You have to put in a URL that starts with "http://" and probably ends with *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.gif, or *.png. Otherwise, the board will think the link is to jplewismusic.com/groupee/, and it won't work.
If the image is on your computer's hard drive, you will first need to upload it to a web-accessible server, like photobucket (photobucket.com).
Hm... well to get the image URL of a picture in Internet Explorer, right-click on the image and look at the "Properties." Then copy the whole "Address" (URL) that starts with "http://".
To access your signature settings: 1. Click "Go" (top left of this board), go through the menu to My Space >> Profile. You can also get to "My Space" from the JPLm Community page. 2. Click "View/Edit Complete Profile" in the top right of the Profile page. 3. Scroll down, and you'll see "Signature" with a text box next to it. Scroll down and click "Submit" to save your changes. If you can't put anything in your signature text box and you have surpassed 100 karma points, contact a moderator. 4. If you would like your signature to automatically display in posts, go to "Preferences" (on the left-hand menu) and check the box under Posting Options that says, "Use Signature on Posts: Automatically". Scroll down and click "Submit". 5. When posting you can choose whether your signature will be displayed in the post using the Full Posting Form. There is a checkbox at the bottom of the form.
jplfan, I could only get mine to work by putting them on photobucket, and then copying and pasting the URL in the display image box. I found if i tried to type the adddress in between the [img] boxes it wouldn't work for me. So if you haven't done that you might try it.
