I love the cat Gidget. Love it! I think my cats must like Jon's music since one will jump on the monitor and sit there and I am often playing his music on the computer, so logic tells me that there is an intimate connection between the 2 events. For your signature, are you looking for something culinary, murderous, or Leave it to Beaverish? LOL I love typos that seem to contain deep significance. How about "Jon's really cooking up some great tunes"? Or "Jon's album will slay the competition"? Or, may I suggest a simple "Gosh Wally, Jon's album will be swell" if you are going for Leave It to Beaverish? June Cleaver would approve.

So, since we were told the album contains the songs we heard in concert, I'm going to make a list of the ones I remember. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone. What's Wrong Gypsy Queen Man From Amsterdam Boy Next Door Burning in Hello Rodeo Turn to Grey If I Go Away Man Like Me Stories from Hollywood That looks like 10. Only 16 more day!

Thanks! You're right. That was another one. Would someone have an 11 song CD? I don't pay that much attention, but somehow I would think you woud have a round number, don't ask me why

11 is a pretty common number... I just bought a HIM cd today that has 16... A lot of artists will usually do anywhere between 8 and 18 songs on a full album... Depending on how well the songs fit together... The artistic feel of an album is very important... I mean even The Beatles had more than ten songs on an album...

That's true, some albums have even number of songs, some have odd number of songs. Personally, Jon should release an album with 24 songs on it (a double disc), but the usual length is between 10-15. Some albums have even less than 10 songs, but are not considered an EP. Black Box's album Dreamland only has 9 songs as do some of Miss Murgatroid's CD's, and Bette Midler's Thighs And Whispers only has 8 songs, and The Continental Drifter's Listen Listen only has 7 songs. Let's hope this message comes through so I know I can post here again...for the time being unless my computer acts whacky again. Cheers, Mikey

Hey Mikey. When an album has fewer than 10 songs, is that normally because the songs are longer? If Jon put out an album with only 7 songs, I think I would feel very disappointed unless each song was 5 minutes long, preferably 10 minutes!

Arts, sometimes the songs are longer if the album has less than 10 songs.. Sometimes it's not... On average an EP will have between 5-9 songs...And an LP on average will have 10-15 songs, but musicians are always breaking rules But there are some LP's that are only 8 songs long with maybe only one or two songs having a longer play time... Songs used to average about 3 minutes... And then there in the 70's a lot of songs averaged about 8 minutes, but anymore they average about 4.5 minutes...

I guess you're right Arts. The albums with fewer songs do tend to have longer songs. For example, Bette Midler's Thighs And Whispers with only 8 songs: 1. Big Noise From Winnetka (6:56) 2. Millworker (4:06) 3. Cradle Days (5:00) 4. My Knight In Black Leather (4:53) 5. Hang On In There Baby (6:07) 6. Hurricane (7:21) 7. Rain (3:41) 8. Married Men (4:01)The longest song is almost 7 and a half minutes. It would be great if Jon's album had lots of long songs. Cheers, Mikey
