This was bp's idea, so I need to give her due credit. Listening to the guys perform tonight, I felt like I heard some good voices, but there wasn't anyone, IMO, who had the voice or intensity that Jon had/has. I still miss hearing him sing each week and it's almost been twelve months.

I agree Betts. As much as there were voices that sounded good. No one moved me toward a phone.

I only saw the recaps and a bit of the last 2 singers. But it all seemed rather blah. I saw no drama, no flair, no artistry. One guy's voice was very thin. Others made scary faces. Nobody compares to Jon as far as I can tell.

GMTA. I posted same topic in AI folder. Hee. But yeah, jon would have been kicking butt and taking names against this group of blahs. *SIGH*

I think anyone looking for a new JPL will be disappointed... but I dunno, I'm not psychic.

Who needs another one? I know I'm satisfied with the one we have.

There just isn't going to be another JPL.......And there will not be another experience like last year. Love ya JPL....... You are still my American Idol.

(But I did like the guys tonight. Maybe it was just so neat to have a solely male show. Made up for too much diva last year!)

There were a few guys I liked on tonight's AI all male show, but none that I like half as much as Jon. My favorites were Bo and Constantine. Jon remains my favorite all time performer on AI.

I don't know about thislove17 but I think hobbits are super fine!!! Love your Dom pic by the way. Especially if one reads LOR the hobbit dudes are even more heroic and H-O-T. I wish the movie would have included the "Scouring Of The Shire" but I realize it would have been anti-climatic for the movie.

And hobbits are the true babes of LOR!!!!! Like JPL.

The all guys night is definitely an improvement from last year's Diva-Fest.

me too i love hearing jon every week!!!! anthony is good IMO but no where near as good as jon
