Hi everybody, I know I haven't been here in a long time. But I had to let you know. I'm sitting in work listening to my launchcast station and they are playing "Turn to Grey"

Is this cool or what? Guitar Guitar

Hey Grace, how are you? We've missed you. Do you have jon's CD? What launchcast station are you listening to?

Hi amzgra! Great to see you! I have missed you and have wondered how you are doing. And you come bearing such great news! I have always been very eager to have Jon's music on Launchcast Radio, but his songs and albums have never had the little radio tower next to them to indicate that they were available for play on Launchcast. They were only available for purchase through yahoo music. Everyone can sign up to have a your own FREE customized Launchcast station. When you sign up, you get to rate artists and suggest a few to be played on your own station. Then when you log in, Launchcast will begin to play songs for you. If you rate a song or artist high on the player or on the Launchcast site, you will hear that song again at some point. You can ban songs too. It will play songs based on your genre preferences and on your song and artist ratings, and will also play some random songs. It is really easy to sign up and figure out. I love it. I will answer questions for anyone who wants some guidance. It's FREE!

But here is the mystery--there are TWO versions of the album showing at up on Jon's yahoo page. One version is available for play on Launchcast because it has the radio tower symbol but the other album version isn't available. The one that doesn't have the radio tower symbol is the one I had already rated, so it seems that the version that is playing is a new version. I gave 5 stars to this new version and all the songs, so eventually they should play for me. I wonder if there really are 2 versions of the album. The covers of the albums vary slightly in color, but I can't imagine why one would be on Launchcast and the other not or why they would display the album twice in the first place.

Once folks get their own station, the link I gave is where you can go in and rate Jon, "Stories From Hollywood," and, if you click on the first album, all the songs too.

Yes, Arts I think it was great news too, that's why I had to share it.
Hi Iris!!! I'm okay.
And Jill, of course I have Jon's CD. I downloaded it the first day it was available on Napster. I couldn't wait for Amazon to ship it.

I'm sorry I haven't been here lately, but I have some things I'm trying to work out and I just haven't had the time or energy to be here. I'm hoping things will be better soon.

Now I am concerned amzgra. I hate to see people I like suffer through difficult times. Can we offer you a listening ear or advice or anything? I sure hope things improve for you.

Hooray! Happiness! My customized yahoo lauchcast station just played "What's Wrong" for me. It only took it one day for it to get around to playing something of Jon's for me after I went in and gave the album and each song on it 5 stars. That is good turn around time, especially since I have so many other songs rated 4 and 5 stars. I wonder how long it would take a listener to hear Jon if they hadn't rated him at all. Today, I heard a Taylor song, even though I have not rated him. I really love my lauchcast radio station. It has introduced me to so many new artists and unknown songs from my favorite artists. It's like having a personal musical butler at my service who offers me up a myriad of dishes to taste. I can then either enjoy the whole dish or skip over it. I urge everyone to get a station. I have had such fun over the years with it. All you need is a yahoo ID and then it is free. I love my launchcast, I really do.
