Can you hear anything else on your computer? There is a mute button at the bottom right on the smaller page of the radio that has the playlist. Try pushing the mute button and see if you can now hear sound. If you can't hear anything on your computer you may have muted it somewhere else. If you have any other programs that play music or sound, muting them could mute WHAT. Or if the main mute button on your computer is activated, it will mute WHAT and everything else.

welll...i truned on WHAT and it worked...and i didnt do anything! WHATever. lol

I just joined and found this topic. I'm trying to listen to WHAT radio but can hear nothing...I've been listening to the sample songs on the main site but can't figure out if I need to something special for it to work?

You will need to have Macromedia Flash browser software to listen to the music on JPLm. I think there should be a prompt if you don't have it.

I had some trouble listening to WHAT on my new laptop, but the Live365 "help" page and another page I found online were helpful. The problem I had was my firewall.

I think the mods here may have deleted the thread where I posted that informaion, but if you describe what happens when you try to listen, maybe we can help.

It has the pop up showing the current song playing and the 2 previous songs with the volume to the right but nothing happens when I click on the play button. Do I have to be a prefered member?

You shouldn't have to be a preferred member. It seems like everything loaded and you should be able to listen.

Make sure that your PC volume control, windows media player, and other sound players on your machine are not muted.

Hmm... Player loads but no sound is heard. I would log out (if you are logged in), close any windows to live365.com, clear my browswer cookies (or at least those related to Live365), and try again from scratch.

Sheepgirl (above) apparently had the same problem and it resolved itself... nothing like a good ol' reboot. hehe

nope - didn't work - I'm getting off work now so I'll have to try again in the morning...maybe just maybe it will work tomorrow...crossing my fingers

There is a "Help" tab on the upper right hand corner of the page when you click the link to WHAT. Perhaps live365 can help if we cannot.

I just love hearing some of those songs Jon sang. And to hear the station ID's and then a song by him is a great treat! I can hardly wait until we have a new song by Jon every hour!
