Wow, just in the past hour and a half, Jon's song has gone from ranking 32,727 on Amazon.com to #10,483 in Music. Clayken remains at #7 in case you were wondering.

Amazing. I see that number too Gidget. I knew all along Jon had terrific music, but this news is still amazing. This single just barely went on sale yesterday. Moreover, this is a single for Pete's sake, not even the full album! Still it is doing this well. And I haven't even bought mine yet. I am really impressed by these sales. It certainly helps that so many of us are spreading the word through various ways. Jill put up a thread about it on the American Idol forum, and many of you are also getting the word out in a variety of ways, so the news is spreading.
And people are buying!

This is great news! But will this single be able soon to buy in a store. I'd rather get it there than order it. I'm not interested in Internet rankings, just for the sake of rankings themselves. If I can walk in a store and buy it, lets's say in the next week or so; I'd rather do it that way and get it faster! I'm glad Jon is doing well in his Amazon sales; shows there's a lot of interest in Jon's music. I don't know of anyone who wasn't a fan of Jon's even on the show, who doesn't like Jon's original music. After hearing Jon's music they become converted. It would be great for Jon's album to "sneak up" on the industry. A lot of them don't even know he has an album coming out. Has there been any radio play yet (the conventional radio, not IdolWaves,.) So how do we go about requesting Jon the radio without annoying the disc jockeys? Generally, what I've found is, if they like a song, they'll add it any way, if it fits into their format. They're are some local stations I think Jon's music would fit theirformat, I'm thinking of contacting some of them!

You guys are doing a great job promoting Jon! What is the Street Team doing as of now? I want to do something to help promote Jon's music! It's time to get it in gear-I can't believe that what I've waited for so long is finally here!

One thing those of us going to the Rexburg and Provo shows will try to do is call stations while there and request they play the songs. I hope they will have them. If not, maybe we can even take the single to them! With Jon doing concerts in those cities, they are more likely to have the songs and play them. I believe most stations across the country won't have the songs yet.
