Wow ohnimbus. That was truly fantastic! Thank you very, very much for coming and giving us that link. And I agree with you Callie. This may well be the absolute best I have ever heard him sing, and that is really saying something since I always think he has an amazing voice. I'm not sure what it was, but perhaps it was the complete smoothness of his voice through the whole performance. Maybe it was the the perfectly controlled and lovely vibrato on so many words, such as "yoooooou" and especially the very last "liiiiiiiiiiiike meeee." I noticed he didn't hold "time" for as long as on the album, and I thought that was a really effective change.
But now I have a deep anxiety. Where is the Gibson Hummingbird??????????? I sure hope it is O.K.
I'm also wondering if the studio audience for this show is generally that enthusiastic. Before he started to play and sing, there was great applause, but then after he sang, the place seemed to go wild clapping and yelling.
Tip: When y'all play the video, don't leave your cursor over the video frame or the picture will be darker than it should be. Move your cursor totally off.
Big thanks again, ohnimbus!
