kchris! I do remember you! I am so happy to see you here. You were always fun to talk to and I appreciate how you tried to help me on the AI forum. Too bad I didn't end up meeting you at the AI concert or anything, but I did appreciate your advice on the concert venue.

I have tried every way I can think of to influence Jon to come East again. I have whined, I gave him a packet of info on Virginia before the Idaho Falls show, I have looked into possible venues, I have whined some more, I have made lists of fans around the Washington D.C. area and lists of rational arguments for coming this direction, I have whined some more, I have dropped hints to his band members about how cool a concert in this lovely area would be, and I have whined in public some more.

But I don't feel like whining now.

Are you sure you can't whine a little bit more....Oh, to see him in concert!

Hi kchrs! Remember me too? Jillsey/aka Betts now. I'm so glad you stopped by and I think this Christmas song really shows jon's potential. It makes me really want his entire CD!

Happy birthday jon and jplewismusic!

I bought the album to day, I guess I just couldn't help myself!

I skipped through it mostly, but I listened to Jon's track and I have to say it's very catchy for a new Christmas song. I love it.

In honor of Jon's birthday I want to order the Christmas Now 2 cd set for myself and also one for Hobbitpens. Which is the best place to order the cd from as far as getting it quickly? Does Amazon.com carry it?

I think Amazon is going to carry it, but it's not listed yet. They carry last year's CD. I ordered from both EMI and MyMusic, and I thought MyMusic was a little faster and cheaper.

Happy birthday jon and jplewismusic!

Wow! I just heard this song through the speakers playing in the background of the video of Jon Smile. Jon's voice sounds incredible. Would love to have the full version of this. Wish it could be purchased as a single. I know if (when) I buy the album I'm going to want to hear Jon singing about every song on there-not just one! I do love Christmas music so the album would be a good investment! Smile

kchris--Hooray for a new grandson! That is very exciting news. I love babies and I am eager to be a grandma.

PenMom, I am glad the CDs are on their way to you.
Here is a fun story about the song. Recently, I went into the mountains to hike and see the leaves. We went late in the afternoon and didn't finish hiking until after sunset. On the way home, we stopped at a mountain lodge. They had a large lobby with a glass wall looking out onto the lights in the valley below. And there on one side, stood a massive stone fireplace with a "fire low." I was immediately struck with the idea that this was the perfect setting for Jon's song. Thick wooden hardwood beams spanned the ceiling. Comfy couches and chairs were scattered around the room. I did in fact start to sing out loud the appropriate lines from Jon's song as I gazed at the fire. LOL The only thing missing was the snow. I had earlier seen a little armful of snow remaining in the parking lot where the snow plow had pushed it last week, so I guess I can count that as a mountain of snow if I use my imagination. I would love to see Jon singing this song on a tv show with a proper setting. I sure hope Santa Claus reads the forum!
