Great review, Arts. I was wondering why I loved the song so much. Now I know.

Yes, I haven't really bothered to listen to many of the other songs. Although the Jimmy Buffet version of Jingle Bells makes me smile 'cause it's just so......odd. Tongue

Although I like Jon's song best, I think anyone who buys this album will find plenty of great Christmas music. I love Josh Groban on "O Holy Night" and Michael Buble on "Grown-up Christmas List" since both those singers have very strong voices that convey emotion well.

Hi to you cbecker and welcome. You clearly have great taste in music! Flower And you know, even if I had never heard of Jon Peter Lewis before and I stumbled across "It's Christmas" on my radio or on this album I know I would love the song and would want to hear it again and again.

I also love Amy Grant's version of Grown Up Christmas List from her Home For Christmas album, and the music video for that song on her Greatest Videos 1986-2004 DVD. Smile

I've not heard Michael Buble before, and I'm sure he's wonderful, but I just love Amy's version and I'm surprised she wasn't included on the album. Surprise Smile

I can't wait to hear Jon's It's Christmas, and I'm expecting my copy of the Mother And Child: A Christmas Celebration Of Motherhood CD which does have Amy on it, with Belinda Carlisle, Debbi Peterson, Siobhan Maher, and Olivia Newton-John featured, among others. Smile

"Tis the time for Christmas music
Fa la la la la la la la la
Jon's new song is lollapaloozic
Fa la la la la la la la la
So hear our praise for our Tiny Dancer
Fa la la la la la la la la
He can swing much better than Dancer
Fa la la la la la la la la
He can write music and can play golf
Fa la la la la la la la la
And he's sweeter than red-nosed Rudolph
Fa la la la la la la la la..."

LOL

Cheers, Mikey Smile

The cd looks great. The only song I have listened to was sung by Jon Peter Lewis. But, I am planning on listening to both cd's after just a little bit more Jon listening. Guitar

I love Christmas music and I am so happy to have a Jon Orginal Christmas song.

Last Christmas I was driving through a very iced over area of Idaho. That is what I picture as I hear Jon sing about the snow.

Hey Arts,
Remember me? I don't have time to hang around here very much but I visit from time to time to see what is going on. I got a message in my email to come listen to his new christmas song and I totally agree with you. This is the Jon that I feel in love with!

I think I'm going to have to purchase that CD.

I'm not into buying Christmas music. There's usually enough festive songs on the radio. The last Christmas related CD I bought was 'Love Actually' soundtrack, and even then, there's a lot of unrelated songs.

But, I'm convinced that this will be a great addition. And, when I heard that JPL was going to be on the list, well I think that this is a very cool plus. Considering I've distanced myself a lot and I've heard a lot of recorded JPL stuff. I'm excited.

kchris! I do remember you! I am so happy to see you here. You were always fun to talk to and I appreciate how you tried to help me on the AI forum. Too bad I didn't end up meeting you at the AI concert or anything, but I did appreciate your advice on the concert venue.

I have tried every way I can think of to influence Jon to come East again. I have whined, I gave him a packet of info on Virginia before the Idaho Falls show, I have looked into possible venues, I have whined some more, I have made lists of fans around the Washington D.C. area and lists of rational arguments for coming this direction, I have whined some more, I have dropped hints to his band members about how cool a concert in this lovely area would be, and I have whined in public some more.

But I don't feel like whining now. I am too busy enjoying "It's Christmas." How could I listen to that song and feel the least bit whiny? The song is so filled with hope and good feelings. So Jon will get out here to tour when he gets out here. And then there will be happiness enough in the East. --Sorry, I couldn't resist the allusion!

I liked this song a lot because it's very quaint and the guitar is very clear. As a matter of fact, I was coming out of the bathroom when I heard the guitar, and I thought it was my dad! I even said 'wow dad, I've never heard you play that well before!' weelll... i suppose that's the end of my review!

I hope you do get the album, Daaaz!

I ordered mine a while ago, and I'm hoping it will be here this week, I can't wait to hear Jon's song.

Also, on a slightly random note, does any body know if Jon's song will be available for US radio ariplay? There are a few stations around here that paly Christmas music starting the week of Thanksgiving, so I thought if Jon's song was going to be available for airplay, I'd e-mail them and request it. Smile
