This is my concert review which some of you have heard but others haven't, so I decided to post it here. Okay. Here goes... So, I get home from school on tuesday, September 14th, and I put the finishing touches on my signs for the concert. I was SO excited i could barely wait til my dad got home to take my mom and I. So, we're on the way there, and I get a call from mish. She's so sweet. She gave me the idea to write a letter to Jon and give it to one of the security guards before the show, just to tell him a little about me, plus i really really REALLY wanted to get backstage! (didn't we all?) So, as I ended my call with mish I began working on my letter. Of course I wanted to start over about a million times because I didn't think anything I wrote sounded good enough. But I finally finished and let my mom read it just to make sure I didn't sound silly. I didn't read over it again because I didn't want to find anything that I would want to cross out. So I folded it and wrote "To:Jon Peter Lewis" on it and put it in my back pocket. And I don't know why I'm going on and on about the letter thing...sorry...back on topic. So, I Don't specifically remember what I wrote in the letter, just what I was wearing (SOR SHIRT! ) What my signs said, where I was sitting, how long I've been a fan of his, etc. I think I probaly wrote "Jon you ROCK!" about 30 times...(im a loser ) SO! Moving along. We got to the venue and I'm like squealing, I kept saying "JPL IS IN THAT BUILDING!" and my parents probably wanted to strangle me. We're walking along and we finally reach the doors of the arena. super excited now. so. We had to wait because the people wouldnt open the doors so I bought a program and looked at it for about 30 mins. finally we got to go in. So we got our wristbands and stuff, my mom takes pictures of me with my signs...all that stuff parents think you enjoy. yeah. standing there holding up my signs and smiling as people stare at me. fun. But I didn't really care because i knew who I was gonna see! We go sit down. I can't sit im way too excited. I was pretty sure i wouldnt find a security guard to get the letter to Jon so I pretty much gave up any hope of that, considering my dad didn't want to search for nice guards with me . but then, we see mr. stevens (Johnny Red's dad obviously) and i ask him to give my letter to Jon. He was super nice about it too. And he of course could get back stage easily. So i was excited. waiting in my seat for backstage passes that never came...oh well. i enjoyed the concert. you all know how the concert went. okay fast forward to after te concert is over. Okay, for those of you who don't know, I met up with a girl at the concert that I met on the AI boards. So iwas walking around with her and her friend and We were walking around looking for nice guards who would let us backstage. they all lied to us saying "they're alwreayd in their limos, they're gone...blah blah blah" So we were like "whatever". So we saw this one guy as we were making our way up the stairs and he sees our signs and says "Are all those for JPL?! he's GOTTA meet you guys!!" so he told us where the buses were. I know this is long and I'm sorry. So were walking outside a huge city that I've only been to once or twice, same for my parents. Us teenagers are all running in the direction of all the other people and the parents didnt wanna keep up. so as they were yelling, we were still trying to find buses. my parents are saying things along the lines of "Lindsay, that guy lied to you, hes sending you on the wild goose chase, why would the buses be so far away from the arena? lets go HOME!" and i just kept saying "no". Defying my parents I don't do, but I was determined, and I wasn't gonna let anything get in my way. All of the sudden, we hear screams coming from the opposite direction we were walking in. so we SPRINT! and i mean sprint. like, the fastest I think i have ever run, in flip flops, and pants that were beginning to fall down, carrying a sign, AND my purse. so were running and we almost got hit by a car. oops. then we see the buses!!! and GEORGE!!! who is awesome. and yeah blah blah blah we met jenny and fanny and jasmine and latoya...blah blah...THEN ahh. JPL comes out. and I start a chant. So there are all these people, guys girls, young, old(er), screaming "J-P-L! J-P-L!" and all because psycho me started it. so anyway. he comes out, and hes signing stuff, and i go "JPL I BOUGHT THE PEN!" and he said something like "I BOUGHT THE PEN!! YEAH!" then i was all " I love you JPL!!" and he goes "I love YOU. And that's sincere!" so im like hyperventalating (No I can't spell that word, sorry.) and he gets to the girl right next to me and he gets called back. so blah blah he signs other peoples stuff, and he come right back to me and before I even say anything he goes "Lindsay, right?" and i was like "AH! how did you know!" And hes like " I read your Letter." Sooooo i couldn't believe it, I almost started crying, I was so overwhelmed by everything that happened, It was all amazing. He was amazing. I even got to pet the velvet jacket!! wow. This is really long. I'm really sorry. I wonder how many of you made it to the end? . I bet if Jon reads this he won't think im crazy...yeah..i bet he won't...
Well i have my own best time in my life story it was five days before the sunrise show and i wasnt going to go because i didnt have tickets but then my local radio station was having a contest and that was the prize and i was caller 100 i was so happy and i got to go see JPL!!! woohoo

haah thats so cool haha that jpl hes so funny...i wonder if he read my letter i gave him in cleveland and if he thinks im crazy...i hope not! =) im glad u got to meet him!
Awww...I just love that story. (((LindsayPoo)))Thanks for bumping it up again Angie. The concerts this summer were so fun. I loved hearing everyone's stories. Jon has such great stage presence...I can't wait for the album and *hope, hope* a new tour.
wow!!! i wish my mom listened to me when i told her i wanted to go backstage! that is awsome. but i do have a small story to share... I was at the pittsburg consert, in the isle way (not siting in my row H seat of course) and jon was on stage, not singing because someone else was, and so I SCREAMED I love you jpl. even though i was only , like 5 feet away from him. but he was up higher than me of course. and so he looked right at me and smiled the cutest smiled and waved at me! he also mouthed the word hi to me too! thats my favorite memory from the consert. -§quare
