OK, so...talk to me. For some reason I have become a little enthralled with this case. I think Howard Stern had something to do with it. I wonder what he overdosed on, if that is what killed him. They say there weren't illegal drugs in his system, but that makes it see like there were some drugs in him. Maybe a sleep agent of some kind?

But I have heard on the radio some people are blaming Anna. And I dont think thats the case cause to kill your own son you have to be pretty messed up. And I dont think shes that messed up... but still... somethings up.

The link works for me. Just to clarify, her attorney and friend is named Howard K. Stern and is not the same person as the nasty shock/talk show host/DJ Howard Stern.
I can't imagine what happened but I don't think Anna Nicole had anything to do with it. Maybe someone gave him non-prescribed drugs to help him sleep or he got them on his own somehow. I suspect drugs because they haven't said he had any health issues. I guess in time we will know. It is very sad. I feel bad for her.

Anna Nicole Smith supports a formal inquest to determine how her 20-year-old son Daniel died last Sunday, her Bahamas-based lawyer, Michael Scott said Thursday.
"She fully wants this process to take place and she wishes the public to not jump to conclusions and to wait for the conclusion of the proceedings," said Scott, according to the Associated Press.
At the moment, Smith is "resting. She's obviously devastated," Scott said. "It's going to take a long time to heal. She's in seclusion and she wants some privacy."
Daniel Smith died in his mother's hospital room while visiting her three days after the birth of his new half-sister. "There was nothing unusual noticed about the condition of the room," assistant commissioner for the Royal Bahamas Police Force Reginald Ferguson said at a press conference Thursday.
Police also revealed that Daniel had been found lying on a bed, one of two in the hospital room, not sitting upright in a chair as they had said previously. They declined to provide further details about the investigation.
A toxicology report is expected on Friday, although officials said its findings will be not be revealed until the start of a jury inquest scheduled to start Oct. 23. Smith, hospital staff and others who saw Daniel on the night of his death are expected to be called to testify.
Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill said that once the toxicology report is completed, Daniel's remains will be transported home to California.
Ok, so now he was laying in bed, not sitting in the chair....what the heck is going on here. Incomplete reporting and maybe a coverup?

JUST three hours before his mysterious death, Anna Nicole Smith's son was playing with his newborn sister, Hannah. Then, at 9.30 in the morning, Daniel Smith, 20, was dead, covered in blood and vomit in his mother's Bahamas hospital room.
Police say a nurse saw Daniel playing with his mother's new baby about 6.30am and, little more than an hour later, mother, son and her lawyer, Howard K. Stern, were asleep in Anna Nicole Smith's room at Nassau's Doctors Hospital.
Assistant Commissioner Reginald Ferguson, of the Royal Bahamian Police, said "around 9.38am, an alarm was sounded at the nurses' station from Room 201".
It's understood Anna Nicole Smith awoke to find her son in a chair, vomiting uncontrollably and coughing up blood.
The former Playboy model then frantically tried to revive her son before doctors spent 23 minutes trying to resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead at 10am.
Witnesses said Smith became hysterical, screaming at long-time lawyer Stern: "You caused this."
Smith was yesterday under sedation. Another lawyer, Michael Scott, said she wanted to be alone.
"She's resting," Mr Scott said. "She's obviously devastated.
"It's going to take a long time to heal.
"She's in seclusion and wants some privacy."
And, on her website, a statement was posted, saying Smith was "absolutely devastated by the loss of her son. He was her pride and joy and an amazing human being".
It's widely believed Daniel Smith died of a drug overdose.
A Bahamian judge yesterday said she knew what killed the one-time actor, but said she would not release her finding pending toxicology reports.
"He did not have any external injuries on his body, so we can rule (natural death) out," Judge Linda Virgil said.
"We do know the cause of death, however I wish to reserve (it) pending the toxicology reports . . . then I will be in a position to review the findings.
"Based on the findings, if it involves one of a criminal nature, then that matter would be referred to the Supreme Court for criminal charges."
A coronial inquiry into Daniel Smith's death will be held next month and will include the toxicology reports and evidence from his mother.
This week's death is the latest tragedy in the sad and often bizarre life of Anna Nicole Smith.

In Touch magazine paid $400,000 for the last photos of Daniel. A family "portrait" taken in the hospital. She apparently needs the money to pay for his funeral expenses and the remainder of the money will be put into a Daniel Smith Foundation of some kind. I don't think she sold them simply for the money. There is a need there. I don't believe she is as rich as everyone thinks.

Daniel Smith had methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro in his system, which produced a lethal "cumulative effect on the central nervous system," leading to his death on Sept. 10, said Wecht.
"The fact that we have these drugs and the levels of the drugs overwhelmingly and most logically point to this being a tragic, accidental, drug-related death," Wecht told The Associated Press from his home in the Pittsburgh area.
Zoloft and Lexapro are antidepressants commonly prescribed for patients suffering anxiety and panic disorders.
Methadone, a pain reliever, is also commonly used by people recovering from drug addictions. Wecht told the AP, "No one has suggested anything having to do with drug addiction in this boy."
Smith was reportedly suffering from depression in the weeks before he went to the Bahamas to visit his reality TV star mom, who had just given birth to a daughter. He died in the hospital room where his mother was recuperating.
