Here in the East, according to NASA, the eclipse will begin at 4:51 a.m. tomorrow morning, and the moon will set while still at full eclipse. Check that link for more info. People west of the Rockies, like Jon, Smile will see the whole thing. Mikey in Austalia ought to get a good show also. The moon will turn red. I hope to be up early enough to watch the performance, at least the final gasps of it here in the East. The moon has inspired much poetry and creativity. Jon should get up early or stay up late and write a song.

I guess I'm still a little kid because I still think these things are a big whoop.

WHOOP!

It is a big whoop! It will be a full lunar eclipse here and around 2 AM, but I am not going to be awake then. Right now it's just a big beautiful full moon.

Awesome!!!
Ok... I can NEVER remeber this: Is the lunar eclipse the one with the sun behind the moon or the earth between the moon and sun? Cause I've seen the latter one before.
Will the Ohioans see the full extent of the show, or no?

Well this one was suppose to be more rare then a blue moon. As this one was a “red moon.” It was a total eclipse though from what I read. Where the sun, earth and the moon all line up in a pretty much a straight line.

I slept a lot yesterday and now I have been up since like 12 am. The eclipse started here around almost 4 am when there is nothing but infomercials on. LOL! Kind of neat to see a full moon turn like this red/orange blood color. Mickey (well Australia) should have had a front row seat from what I read. Anyone else catch it?

So my alarm didn't go off and I ended up missing this. Oh well. When I miss a big whoop, I'm actually very stoic about it all, even though I carry on publically like crazy when I miss a Jon concert. That all is for dramatic effect. Mostly. Guitar
