I Hope everyone has a fun and safe Independence Day!!!!I don't get to see the fireworks this year, do to water issues and travel.But I hope everyone else enjoys them!And remember what this day is all about!
OMG!!!!!! I went out last night to see the Army Concert Tour, IT ROCKED! It was Lynyrd Skynyrd, Randy Rogers and Bobby Dale. I wanted to post about it here because the "tour" will be at these next three posts:

I hope you all had a very happy and safe 4th of July! I was at a big beautiful lake in North Idaho and watched a huge fireworks display from a boat. It was very fun.

Cool. I went down to DC with my peeps. The level of security they put up nowadays is kind of a downer, but the crowd was a in a great mood and the display was awesome.
I love fireworks in DC because you can actually feel the explosion shockwaves... and we got extra shock because we were sitting in front of the Lincoln Memorial, so they bounced off old Abe and back at us! ba-ba-boom! ba-ba-boom!
Wow that sounds fun Iris! That's the ultimate Independence Day to celebrate it in front of the Lincoln Memorial with old Abe! I want to do that!
