Does anyone follow this sport? I really didn't until my city formed a team. They are doing great with a 6-1 record and they sell out our arena for every game. I'm going to my first game tonight!

My home team won last night so now they are 7-1, and remain #1 in their league.
It was really, really fun! There is so much more action on the field than in NFL Football, and the crowd was great! Lots of noise and cheering going on and better yet, tons of touchdowns! The players were awesome too. We stayed for the autograph session after the game and the players were very accessable to all the kids that were lining up to meet them. It was a really fun night and if anyone's city gets an Arena Football Team, I recommend supporting them and joining in on the fun!

i dont see what's different about it. i never saw it, but all i know is that the field is 66 yards. is 66 yds right?? idk but its smaller than a regular football field. i'll have to ask my dad about this arena football thing. our team is playing at the ice rink thing.
It is 50 yards. That is why they score so many times as it is half the size of NFL fields. The extra yards may be the space for the end zones so it is probably 66 yards total. Our team plays in a large arena. It's fun! I hope you can catch a game.

Look out, The Spokane Shock were their league champions last season and it was their first year! I don't know how many leagues there are but the Spokane Shock plays in the Arena Football 2 league, American Conference. The link I posted shows what league we are in and it lists OK City in the National Conference, same league.
