My Seahawks had another good day! They beat San Francisco 41-3. What's this chatter I heard that the Colt's are considering forfieting a game or two to aviod risk of injuries before the playoffs? I heard something like that but missed part of what was said on a sports show. They also said something about you don't win a ring for going undefeated and that their goal is to get to the Super Bowl.

Dang it Dang it Dang it!! *&%$(*&^*#@^&*
What a disappointing game sunday! And the weather was COLD! phooey! But we did sack Manning a few times! Our offense finally came alive at the end of the game. Man...I just wish they would let me boy David throw the ball more! This running game aint working!
I guess 9-4 is still a very respectable record! In another other division we would be on top and in the play-offs....BUT NOOOOO we have the stinkin; Colts in our division now. We have a better record than the Patriots and they are going to the play-off at the top of their division! This was supposed to be OUR year, not the darn Colts!
GERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But hopfully we will have the wild card spot...so there is still hope!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051222/ap_on_sp_fo_ne/fbn_dungy_sonVery sad news about the son of Colts' Coach Tony Dungy. My team, The Seatle Seahawks, play the Colts on Christmas Eve. This kind of takes the desire to beat them away. Now I don't care if the Seahawks lose to them because a win might lift their spirits a little at such a sad time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dungy family. What a tragedy!

Well the Seahawks beat the Colts but I thought it was nice to see the Seattle fans holding up signs of support to the Dungy family on TV.

This just about broke my heart. I've been a Colts fan since Peyton Manning started playing for them, and have admired Tony Dungy SO much. He's such a gentleman and a truly classy guy. What a terrible tragedy for his family, especially over the holidays. On a happier note, congrats to Jolie (and goldenchyld ) on the Bears playoff berth, and to Paula and I'm sure Gidget as well. Too bad you all aren't rooting for the same team!

Thanks Jill .. Playoffs will be interesting! We should have a contest of sorts. Like choose a team before playoffs start and win Karma points every time your team wins. This way multiple people can pick the same team and "celebrate" each win here.

I like that too Paula. We don't really have anything like that until the NCAA tournament. If anyone is interested in doing it for basketball after the first of the year, comment here! If not, maybe we can do something like that next year. Only three more months until March Madness!

I'll do it for the March Madness... As I don't really watch College Sports, I don't have to worry about someone else getting my team... But as far as the NFL goes, I already picked my pony

Gidg, I'm really sorry about the Jags loss today. I was so rooting for them, and it seemed like Leftwich was really settling down and playing well in the second quarter. You've got a young team, I understand, so hopefully next year will be an even better season, and you can go deeper into the playoffs.

Thanks a lot Jill! I was so upset about that game. There was so much riding on it. So much pride! Dang it all! Well, we just had too many injured players out there playing. Two of our big defenders with casts on their hands! How do you defend and tackle someone when you can't grab hold of them??!! Gerr! It was hard to watch that game.

Lovie Smith's award was well-deserved. And was Brain Urlacher defensive MVP or overall MVP? It's unusual to have an MVP who's on defense. Congratulations to the Bears for their great season. I hope it continues.
