I couldn't find a thread for this so the old one may have "expired". Anyway ... I'm watching my Gonzaga Bulldogs beat up the U of WA Huskies and they are up 51-29 and it's only the first half. Whooo!

I'm hoping for another good showing at the finals in March Madness!

Anyone else have a favorite team? (Or teams?)

My other fave is the WA State Cougars, but they handed my Zags their 2nd loss of the season last week so they are on my naughty list.

The U of WA Huskies are my 3rd favorite team. I guess I support the local boys with my top 3 teams!

We're hosting the Big Twelve Championship in Oklahoma City, and I've been going to basketball games nonstop for the last three days. It's been really fun. And OU women are in the finals! Woohoo!

Spokane is hosting some first round games.

oregon / Miami (Ohio)

Southern Cal / Arkansas
Texas / New Mexico State

My WA State Cougars and Gonzaga Bull Dogs made the tourneyment! So I'm happy about that. When I watched the selection show today, the guy anouncing made a comment after announcing Washington State VS Oral Roberts. He said he hoped Oral Roberts wins that one and thinks they will. I yelled out, "Heeeeyyy"! lol WA State is #3 seed and Oral Roberts is #14 seed, but whatever, I know upsets happen and people often root for the under dog. But my Cougars from WA State have had an amazing year, better than my Zags, so I have to think they will keep it alive for awhile anyway. I only wish the Gonazaga Bulldogs (Zags) would have had a better year. At least they made it but they had some losses including losing Adam Morrison to the pros and a drug bust that got one of their star players ejected from the team. I can't believe he was so stoooopid.

Well, Betts! This is like the most anticlimatic OU/UT game... our teams really sucked last week. Ha! Thought this would be a battle for the top spot by now. Now, it's just who can keep their respect. We're barely hanging in the top 20... sad.

Anyway... good luck... Boomer Sooner for you! Let's have a good game!

I really want the Zags to win but hate to see the Cougars get their first loss handed them. It's a home game for the Zags, also my hometown team, so I am really pulling for them!

I'm really excited Oklahoma made it into the tournament. Watch for our star player, Blake Griffin. He's going to be in the NBA soon (but hopefully not until after next year). My other favorite is Longar Longar, whom I hope will get drafted this year.
