The Hornets are coming to Oklahoma City for the season! Since their home in New Orleans isn't going to be available this year, they're coming here. I'm so excited. And their rookie is Chris Paul, the ex-point guard from Wake Forest! They didn't have a very good season last year, but it will be awesome to have NBA basketball to go to! Keep looking!

It's now the New Orleans Hornets of Oklahoma City. How do you get that on a jersey? I guess I'll have to check out the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and see how they managed.
Happy birthday jon and jplewismusic!

That sounds like fun Betts! How nice to have a new city embrace you like that. I'm sure the Hornets will be met with open arms! Wish they came to my city! But we are so far away from them.

That's great! It's hard for me to make it to Seattle in the winter months because the mountain passes on every route are horrible in the winter. And there's no guarentee on the airlines because we get fogged in a lot during the worst months. But I'll watch for them on TV!

I'm so very excited! We've got our first game on Sunday. I can hardly wait. Forget Dallas and Phoenix! Forget Steve Nash and Jermaine O'Neal. I'm an instant Hornets fan
Going to see the Hornets play tonight! I've got my Oklahoma City (weird!) Hornets shirt and third row seats. Woohoo! We're (weird) playing the Nuggets tonight. Go Hornets!
It was really fun ewe. There were about 15,000 people there, which is about 75% capacity. At the start of the game the crowd was really quiet. I think people really didn't have a sense of ownership of the team. And they were behind by 26 points. Just after halftime they really picked it up and went on a twelve point run. The crowd really went nuts and cheered like crazy for the rest of the game. It was great fun. If you'd like to come up for a game sometime, I've frequently got an extra ticket Just let me know.
We beat the Heat last night (sorry Razz), but Dwayne Wade wasn't playing. And I heard we traded away our only All-Star player today, so I have no idea what that will mean. We're playing the Rockets tomorrow night. I'm excited to see Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady.
Going to see the Hornets play tonight We just traded our best player, Jamal McGloire, away for Desmond Mason and a couple of draft picks. That means they're basically sacrificing this season for the next, but what the hey, for one year they're my team, win or lose
The Hornet won for my birthday We're 3 and 5, which is considerably better than last year, when they were 2 and 18 for a while. We've got an away game with the Magic and then they'll be back here for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. My family will all be here, and I've got tickets for everyone. It's going to be SO fun!
We won again! We beat the Magic without three of our starters, and are now 4 and 5. It may not sound like much, but last year at this time, they'd only won one game. Woohoo! Go Hornets!
