Jon recently spent some time over at the Author's Channel who interviewed him about the "American Idol Chicken Soup for the Soul" book. He did an impromptu concert of "It's Christmas" which you can check out right now at http://vidshadow.com/video_player.asp?videoid=6889
It's a cute clip I think the full interview will be played on the Author's channel in January. I'll post details on show times if I hear anything.
That's a really fun clip! There is a place there to say you dig the video, so be sure to click on the "dig it" button. I enjoyed hearing another rendition of "It's Christmas." It's a nice Christmas present. He sounds great singing the whole song. Jon has a great personality too.
Right now, the video has had 70,645 views! That is amazing! If you go to the author's channel homepage, you will see that Jon has already received 13 "dig its." There is also a place on that page to give the video a "vidit" vote. I'm not clear how vidit differs from "dig it," but maybe someone else will have a chance to figure it out.
**************************** California Christmas this year.
That was awesome!!! "My voice is horrible..." That was funny. His voice is so not horrible in that clip! Beautiful is more like it. I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!!!!! And I love that version of it.

Arts, where are you seeing the 13 "dig it"s? It showed 0 for me last night so I gave it one and today it only shows mine. Maybe I am looking at the wrong thing.
You are correct Gidget, his voice was not "horrible". lol. As he said, he had been singing all week so maybe he felt it was a bit strained. Also, most singers have to warm up a bit and the first few lines he sang he may have felt like he needed that to warm up. I thought he sang beutifully too in that video.

Thanks for putting up that interview Mish, that was great. I thought his voice sounded great singing that and his talking voice is pretty awesome as well.
I forgot all about that CD, bought it last year and remember thinking then, how awesome it was he got on that CD wth all those other fantastic artists.
