On my fox channel, which is fox 5 out of Washington D.C., they have been running ads during American Idol. I am not sure if I heard it right, but it seems they are saying their news broadcast later tonight will include a segment about former American Idol finalists. The segment is called "Where Are They Now?" They showed Jennifer Hudson speaking. But there is some chance Jon will appear on this news broadcast. I have heard a rumor that this segment does show Jon. I am running off to watch the state of the union address right now, but if nothing else, people might want to watch their regular fox night news tonight and find out what has happened to some of the other finalists. I do hope they show Jon though. I imagine this segment is one of those things that gets sold to other local fox stations around the country and could be shown even on the morning news or at a later day in different parts of the country.

I should make clear that when I said there is a rumor that Jon is on this segment that I heard the rumor third hand. And that apparently a segment like this (with Jon) has already run in Utah. I expect that my fox station will have the same segment, only instead of broadcasting it earlier, my station is broadcasting it tonight.

Well, I don't really know what is going on. Fox advertised a segment with Jennifer Hudson saying something about finalists thinking they will get Grammies, but then the segment they showed didn't even have Jennifer in it! Instead of a segment on "Where Are They Now" I seemed to be getting a segment on losers and on the people who appeared in tonight's show. They interviewed the gray haired guy. And I double checked that rumor out of Salt Lake, and it looks as if out there, they did a segment about people of local interest, including Jon. But that segment isn't likely to be one that will air other places. I will keep my eyes out for y'all though. Maybe the "Where Are They Now" thing will air tomorrow.
