A blogger named Reed Dunn has conducted an interview with Jon. The interview contains several interesting things, but perhaps the most interesting is this statement: "'The touring this year, we have a lot of options open to us,' he said. 'We’ve spoken to some bands; we have just a lot of different ideas, but we haven’t solidified anything yet. It will be before the fall. At the latest, it will be the summertime.'”

So Jon may tour with another band. I think that is an effective approach. It would expose him to a larger audience. I would only hope that any other band he tours with would be compatible with his music.

Here is another good quote: "'I’m not intimidated by the business out here, he said. 'I think a lot of it is really strange. It’s kind of a land of fake, plastic people. And that’s kind of odd sometimes. I just like being kind of close to it all.'”

How did you ring in 2007?
“I was partying like a crazy man. I was hanging out with like eight chicks and just me.”

That was a good interview, but I don't like that the writer referred to Jon as an 'Elvis impersonator'. He was Jon, singing Elvis. And his dance moves were all his own. lol. Impersonators try to look, sound, and move just like the person they are imitating. Jon was all Jon when he sang both Elvis songs. Funny how if people sing songs from other artists they are not called impersonators. I've read this comment before about Jon. Sorry to rant but you'd think the writer would know the difference between performing a cover and impersonating.

Other than that though, I liked the interview and thought he asked good questions.. and I agree Kat, that was a very funny answer Jon gave. Sounds like he had a fun New Year's Eve.

The guy got Jon's album release wrong too. Said he released it on his website...didn't mention the fact that it was available for purchase on Amazon! That's annoying.
