This is so exciting! I'm off to do my Ambassador gig!
I even wrote a review on Amazon.Com...OK, the album hasn't even been released yet, but I felt like it!!
****Although I don't have this album yet, as it won't be released for a week, I just wanted to urge everyone who reads this listing to buy a copy of "Stories From Hollywood" from new artist Jon Peter Lewis. A fantastic guy, very friendly and talented, a great singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer, and very fashionable (I still want that green velvet jacket), this album will be a huge hit upon its release. The songs, some of which I've heard as downloads or previews are awesome and Jon alternates between a powerhouse rocker and a heartfelt balladeer, and sometimes achieves both at the same time.
November 7 - Stories From Hollywood - Jon Peter Lewis - Be there or be square!****
I signed up for an alert when it's available to order (might that be November 7th???) How exciting to see it in print. And I can hardly wait for a chance to hear some of those songs on my own sound system, as well as share them with friends. This is going to be a great CD.
Great news! Thanks. He looks pissed in that cover shot.

If I had to live in L.A. and deal with Hollywood types, I think I would feel ticked off as I sang stories about it too! Hahahahahahaha. The way he is looking askance there fits very well. Here is how my dictionary defines askance:
"1. With a side or oblique glance; sidewise. 2. With disapproval, suspicion, or distrust."
Smart Jon! Keep looking askance at Hollywood.
Fortunately, not all the songs are in the same genre or mood as the title song. There are more romantic songs like "Man Like Me" and "If I Go Away" and more light-hearted songs like "Rodeo." But you know, even most of Jon's romantic songs are not exactly happy, optimist songs. "Lovin' you is something like burnin' in hello." "Leaves of green have tuned to grey." "It's a drag in second place." But there is also a little glimmer in his eyes as he sings songs like "Amanda Grace" and "Burnin' in Hello," so they do have a fun side too.
Although the cover photo fits the songs, my jury is still out on how I would rate this shot.
**************************** A voice, a chime, a chant sublime, of peace on earth, good will to men.
Awesome photo! Jon looks very mysterious in that picture, you can't tell exactly what he's thinking, and he's giving you that *come hither* look as if to say "you wanna see under this cool exterior, then check out my music". Jon is a master of expression.
Just a quick message to let you know the price of Jon Peter Lewis' CD Stories From Hollywood quoted on Amazon.Com will be $15.98 US Dollars and it's available for pre-order now.
Personally, it's worth a whole lot more than that!
