I like it like it like it. Love the close up on the chucks on the tracks and the tiny yellow flower in the field. Love the cliff shot with the beach behind you. Really good. I also like when you almost laugh in a few shots. Looks like you are kinda chuckling at the fact that you are singing to a camera inches from your face. Just some cute moments captured. I like them. Good job!!

Dude, you and your personality are so ridiculously photogenic. Singing to the camera by yourself must be a little weird, eh? Different from singing in front of a mirror. haha
And yeah, Gidget, the shot of stepping on the tracks was pretty nifty.
I saw this first on facebook but I am glad you posted about it here. The people I nanny for have their computer hooked up to their 62 inch HDTV. Plus I was able to get it to fill the screen. I have to admit I just watched it for the fourth time that way. I think the part I liked best is where it looks like you are song writing. To me it looks like you have a pick in your mouth too. Is that what that is?
Also like Gidget said, it does look like you are about to start cracking up a couple of times. Usually when you look towards the camera. It is cute and seemingly classic you, since it isn't the first time I have noticed it. All and all I am really liking it and getting this warm fuzzy feeling and fudge eating grin from viewing it. I just want to hug you I am so happy for you!
I really like this video. I too had noticed the little smiles, especially when he walks in front of the news stand. I'd probably feel awkward making a music video too. The best part for me is maybe on the bridge when he sings "Just break the silence" and then turns his head to the side when he sings "break." It is right before the Woah, Woah, Woahs. He seemed to be truly getting into the song right there. I also like how at the very beginning he looks to the side when he starts to sing "understood." It makes him seem more shy, just as the character in the song is supposed to be. Next, when the camera pans to the ocean as he sings "brink," the shot seems to symbolize the depths of the character's inner soul.
I also love the short clip of him writing music with the guitar pick in his mouth. It's a great look of concentration that adds variety to the video.
I'll mention one other thing tonight. The birds were really cool. He is singing about closing the windows right when the birds first show up, and then a bird flies right by some windows. Then later in video is an awesome shot of two pigeons on a street light. One flies away while the other stays. See, that's what happens when you won't break the silence. The girl flies away and doesn't even miss you.
Does anyone know what kind of flower that is? I'm not up on my California flowers.

Love the setting though
That was on purpose.

OK I really love this video... And that song is awesome!!!!
I noticed the thing about the birds too... And I love the shot with the pick in his mouth.. But I will have to watch it later after everyone else goes away, cuz they don't understand that I'm trying to watch this and they try to talk to me..
Great music video Jon. You look good in it .. you might pick up a few stalkers from that, lol.
I just now got to see it because my computer totally crashed Friday night so I had to go buy a new one and I just now got it set up. Why does everything break at once? I'm going broke replacing things!

I give it a Enjoyed the video and think it's a great song! Very catchy and I think it would do well on the radio. Looking forward to hearing more new music from the CD!
