American Idol featured news about the release of Jon's debut album "Stories From Hollywood" which dropped on November 7th.
The blurb from Idol states: "Coming off the heels of a successful single ("If I Go Away"), a media blitz, and a bunch of live shows, no one could argue that life is good for Jon Peter Lewis. On top of being featured with several other well-known artists on a Christmas compilation album, the lovable JPL just released his own CD, Stories from Hollwood."
He's also under AI's Recent Releases. You can hear samples of his tunes on the AI site.
"Lovable" hehe I like that. But keep in mind, he's "Not the boy next door".
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
yeah...good tune. i have it on right now! lol. there's so many good lines packed in here. like "so many boys masqueraded as love's precious flame". and then there's the whole plumbing bit. awesome.
It's funny, when I read the lyrics for Boy Next Door, I get mental images of Leo (Brian Krause) from Charmed who appears to be an ordinary handyman for the Halliwell family, but reveals himself to be a Guardian Angel who falls in love with Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and later marries her and gives her three kids! Leo was once a living human being, and I guess he never got over that even as an angel. He liked being randy and getting laid too, just as Jon sings in Rodeo.
Sorry about that, but I like Jon's admission that he is human rather than an angelic saint, kind of like Leo's human rather than saintly tendencies.
