This link to CKNX is up on the community page and they do stream, so folks should be able to hear this one. I wonder if this was even one of the stations that played "It's Christmas" and helped it achieve that #13 chart place.

I put the infomation together to figure out what SEEEMS to be what will happen tomorrow morning, Tuesday March 21. If Phil Main is the one who plans to interview Jon, then it is likely that the interview will happen sometime between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Eastern time since according to the CKNX 920 HOMEPAGE Phil Main is on during those times and the station is on Eastern time.
I have been listening there some this morning, and luckily, I caught them talking about Jon! I have been very fortunate lately to happen to catch Jon stuff. They were interviewing a guy named John Michael O'Loughlin whose website, www.proposalday.com lists Kelly Clarkson as a runner-up for most eligible woman in the world. I assume it was Phil Main who took that opportunity to mention that they would be interviewing former American Idol contestant Jon Peter Lewis tomorrow. John Michael O'Loughlin said, "Oh wow." The interviewer (I think, though it could have been John Michael) then said, "Kind of exciting." I think the interviewer then asked if John Michael remembered Jon, but seems he said he doesn't watch until the end of each season.
I am glad they are promoting the fact that Jon will be on their program tomorrow.
You can see a photo of Phil Main HERE, but here is what it says about him: "You may have heard him on our sister station FM 102, but now he has rejoined with Scott Pettigrew and taken over the Morning show on AM 920. The Goderich Collegiate graduate is an accomplished singer-songwriter with several CDs to his credit."
Phil and his wife Debbie have three children. They are very active in the community; working with youth through the North Huron Youth for Christ Drop-in Centre."
It is neat that the guy interviewing Jon is also a singer/song writer in addition to being a radio personality.

UPDATE: They plugged Jon again just before signing off for the morning. They said he was involved with some of the contestants this year, so he would give some input about them. They also said that he would have tips for people trying out for Canadian Idol and that he would discuss Simon. I hope they do a nice long interview with him.

They just announced that Jon will be there in the next half hour, so between 8:30 and 9:00 Eastern, or 7:30 and 8 Central, 6:30 and 7:00 Mountain, 5:30 and 6:00 Pacific. Jon is going to have to be up early.

Ok. They just said that they were hoping to talk to Jon, but time is running out. They also said that big stars often sleep in. They hope to reschedule Jon for another day.

That's too bad about this morning. I recorded the entire show.
Lucky for us, Tuesday's interview was available via internet too, and I happened to record thatshow as well.
Jon did an interview that lasted about 7 minutes.
Rundown:
Favorite AI5 contestant: Taylor (yay) Who he thinks will win: Chris and Katharine (oh he's wrong about Katharine. ) Immediate plans: Spring tour, EP with bonus DVD (whee!)
There's a bunch of other entertaining stuff in there too.
Warning, the djs are yer basic morning-zoo nimrods. Just pay attention to the Jon parts. .

So this is the same interview? I stopped listening when they said they would try to reschedule the interview. Thank you very much for reporting the highlights and for the link. I will need to listen later today since I don't have time right now. Do you have some special software that lets you record off the internet?

I posted the link over at the Harem last night...but since today's interview didn't work out, I thought I'd post it here too just to make sure everybody got a chance to hear at least one of these interviews since many radio stations don't stream their broadcasts.
It's not the same interview, Arts. It's Tuesday's interview--with KKMG in Colorado Springs. It wasn't mentioned on the community page, but that interview was available by streaming internet as well.
As far as software--I use a program called "Total Recorder". It records streams, and the pro version has editing functions.

I'm not sure how I missed this till now, but thanks Omnibus!!! I appreciate you posting this, I enjoyed listening to it.
