Tune your dial or set your recorder to the Today Show on Thursday, April 20th! Jon is scheduled to appear in a segment about some of our favorite finalists. Jon talked to the Today Show this week and updated them on what he's been up to. The show airs on NBC from 7:00 - 10:00 a.m. Nationwide.

It sounds like they may have taped the segment. (Unless Jon is flying to NYC, and for some reason I don't think he is.)

I don't think he'll be singing this time around. Not that I have any clue what this is about. Maybe they'll do a bit of Turn to Grey. But dude, even if he's only on for 30 seconds, this is great!
This is HUGE for Jon! The "Today" show has an immense audience. Its site says, "The program is unparalleled in its ratings dominance in the morning news arena, serving as America’s overwhelming favorite for nearly ten consecutive years." And I guess it really does run from 7-10 a.m. in every time zone. That is a strange thing, but seems to be true. So check your own listings or the homepage of your NBC station, but it seems you will each get this when your very own clock says 7:00.

Oh yeah!!!!!!! Im sooooo setting my alarm clock (gosh I havent ever set my alarm clock on a day were I dont have school the next day) HAHA! I cant wait!

We don't get The Today Show in Australia, but I bet Jon is wonderful on it! Please let me know what he says, does, or sings! Especially if he mentions a release date for his EP!
Make sure you have set your VCR's clock ahead an hour. I tried to record the Today show this morning. Didn't work. I thought maybe I had just set the menu incorrectly when I set it to record. But I tried to record AI tonight, and it didn't work then either. So it dawned on me that the clock might be wrong. Sure enough, I needed to set it ahead--guess my VCR is not near as smart as my computer.

Drat, I have an algebra class in the morning so I'll miss it, as far as I know right now. Unless it's on before I leave. Either that, or Jon can write a nice note to my Algebra professor explaining that I had to miss class so I could watch the Today Show.

But would you be able to hand that note to your teacher??? I mean with a JPL Autograph on it?
The Today Show posts lots of videos from previous shows on their site. I wonder if Jon's segment will make it to their website.

Whew....I'm so glad I checked back in here this morning...I knew this was on but forgot until this thread jogged my memory....just threw my tape in and hit record.
