Hi everyone. I am Laura from www.idolreview.net .Yesterday I was lucky enough to do a phone interview with Jon. It lasted about 15 minutes--it was my first idol interview and Jon was very nice. Click over to my site to read it. If you have any questions feel free to reply or leave a comment on my blog.
hey, I read your interview earlier today! great job! you drew him out nicely on several interesting topics. it was a good read. i wouldn't have guessed Jon was your first Idol interview. have you done other interviews before this? i'll drop by and comment your blog. thanks a bunch for stopping by!
Thanks for coming here, Laura! Your interview was really good. You asked excellent questions. This is my favorite quote from the interview:
"JPL: No, it definitely isn’t Big Brother. People weren’t excited about us living in a mansion. And believe me, I wasn’t necessarily excited about living in this mansion. This mansion was the testament to the fact that money cannot buy taste. This thing looked like five architects got into a fist fight and drew it up. It was interesting."
That was quite funny! I was also happy to know Jon is doing a radio tour.
What made you decide to interview Jon?

Thanks for posting the link to the interview with Jon! You did a great job and it was fun to read Jon's answers.
Come by and chat with us when you can!

Mishtat - I have never interviewed anyone ever. I just asked questions I wanted to know from the show, and I always love to know what all the idols are up to, and it was just coincidence that it fell the day before his single came out.
artslvr - I was contacted by the people promoting Idol camp last week - they saw my blog and asked if I would like to do a phone interview. I emailed back - I think within five minutes - and told them for sure - I would love to talk with any former idol contestant! I also interviewed Kim Caldwell yesterday, but I have yet to write that up.
As for me, I'm kind of naturally shy and would find it daunting to interview anyone, but you seemed so natural and confident, that nobody would know it was your first interview.
