"Tonight" is a lovely song, and Jon sings it well. He didn't seem to be using the Hummingbird, and instead seemed to be using an acoustic guitar with only 4 strings. Maybe I couldn't see one of the strings, but it was unusual. I'll have to watch again to solve this mystery. Or maybe someone else can confirm what I thought I saw.

I think that, actually, this show runs simultaneously across the country, so everyone can just gage their own local time from the stated time for Eastern Time. Central Time would be one hour before Eastern, Mountain Time 2 hours earlier, and Pacific Time 3 hours earlier. Thus, the times for Eastern and Pacific would be as follows: Saturday, March 29th at 1:00am ET/Friday March 28 10:00 p.m. PT Saturday, March 29th at 11:00am ET/8:00 a.m. PT Saturday, March 29th at 1:00pm ET/10:00 a.m.PT Saturday, March 29th at 3:00pm ET/noon PT Saturday, March 29th at 5:00pm ET/2:00 p.m. PT Saturday, March 29th at 7:00pm ET/4:00 p.m. PT Sunday, March 30th at 5:00pm ET/ 2:00 p.m. PT Sunday, March 30th at 10:00pm ET/ 7:00 a.m. PT Monday, March 31st at 4:00pm ET/ 1:00 p.m. PT

I caught it by accident last night. I think it was at midnight. They made me sit through so much crap before he sang though! Just to let everyone know, he talks some at the beginning, then you can change the channel until 3 minutes til the end.
Everyone can watch Jon's recent appearance on "Idol Wrap" at Kimberly Caldwell's site. But in a cruel twist, they show everything BUT Jon singing "Tonight"! What is up with that? All the wind-up to Jon singing is there, but not his actual singing. It cuts off right where he would open his mouth to sing.
Folks should go to Kimberly Caldwell's site to view these just to boost her site numbers and as a way of thanking her, but just in case someone can't figure out where the right links are, here are the appropriate links: Jon reviewing the Top 10 performances.
I will see what I can find out. I will ask Kristin.

I actually did ask Kristin yesterday, and she was quick to respond, but I wasn't as quick to let everyone here know why she didn't post the song. Kristin said that she typically posts up only the video that actually contain Kim. Since guest performances don't usually contain Kim, she usually doesn't include those. She was very gracious though and said that in the future she would also try to post up stuff with just Jon in it. It is bandwidth and space issue for her. I have it recorded on my DVD-R, but I can't figure out just how to get it off there and onto my computer. I have tried to transfer a DVD-RW to my computer, but my computer freezes.

Okay, thanks. She replied to me as well, same thing.
