I actually thought that "Awake in a Dream" a little "rockier" would be a GREAT track on a cd. He should do something like a bonus track on the new cd or something. -shrug- I'd buy it. Great excuse to head up to Canada for a day!

Thank you for your help. I'm glad to be a member of this board. Everyone is respectful of one another's views. I'm gonna try to post responses in some thread soon. Too bad, I didn't win any of the contests I entered, but it's fun anyway to have such things on forums. Thanks.

I can tell who your favourites are for this year's AI. I myself like Chris Sligh and LaKisha as well. I don't know if Chris can make it far because he seems quite bored with the process of getting to the top. He hasn't let his funny side through thus far. I really hope he's not discouraged already. No matter what, this is a good exposure for his band. His pastor is kept so busy doing interviews regarding Chris. Cute.

I want LaKisha to win. But I also like Melinda. So, we shall see. It's definitely going to be a girl winner this time. What's your feeling?

Glad to see you posting again! I was beginning to think that you were going to be the ones that sign up and post for a few weeks and just leave. That would've made me tres sad : (

Chris Sligh's band seems to be pretty popular these days. I haven't actually taken the time to hear a full song, but I heard they were good. Chris Said in an interview that he was using his humor to get into at least the top 12, but then trying to focus more on the singing instead of that. I wish he wouldn't though -- the humour is what got him there, he NEEDS to keep it up.

I dont think he'll win -- top 5 is where I placed him in a little game with my friend. LaKisha is my girl! I Love her. I have Melinda placing second and Blake placing first. Although, Id love it if that changed -- even though they're some of my favorites, I'd love for the southerner tradition to keep alive. As for a winner? Hmm. I was thinking girl at first. But as of now, who knows!

I saw one of his band's home-made videos on youtube. They are good. I agree with you about the humour thing.
