Very interesting. I suspect we will see Taylor somewhere near the top of that list some day. And hopefully Jon's CD will do well too.

A hot new Idol Chasers Round-Up is coming soon, but while you wait, here's a shortened, appearance-only version, intended to save you from June's fast and hard-hitting dose of Idol-withdrawal. That's right, you're not the only one feeling it. Hold on tight, the friendly faces of the Idol alumni are here to comfort you (plus, check out the special Dads/Grads news inside)!

First, let's start off with some tour news. It's summertime, and now is definitely the time to get out of the house and catch a concert, whether it's a standing-room-only American Idols Live! show, or if it's an intimate fairground performance with a country crooner like Gracin or Underwood.
So, if you ARE thinking about seeing Josh Gracin (of Season 2) in concert, he'll be playing in the following cities throughout the month of June: Port Huron, MI, Saginaw, MI, Brooklyn, MI, Grand Junction, CO, Green River, WY, North Platte, NE and Des Moines, IA. Check JoshGracin.com for exact dates.
Season 2's Kimberley Locke, who is preparing to release her sophomore album this summer, will make an appearance at the Saloon Nightclub in Minneapolis on June 25, and at the Atlanta Pride Festival on June 23 (also performing at the Atlanta Pride Festival is Frenchie Davis, one of Simon's favorites who was disqualified right before the Top 12 in Season 2). Also, Kimberley's Lane Bryant campaign continues as the Pineville, NC and Fremont, CA stores make her list of locations this month.
Next on the concert list is Kelly Clarkson, who's breaking out an all new 24-city tour you're sure to get "addicted" to. Kelly's "Addicted Tour", which promises plenty of hit favorites and new material, will kick off in West Palm Beach, FL on June 30. Keep checking Idol Chasers to see when the original American Idol will be hitting your town.
The good ol' Season 3 Huffinator always made audiences feel better, no matter what kind of day they were having. George Huff's latest gig puts him in the same situation, as a counselor and encourager for the Gospel Music Channel's Gospel Dream 2006. Gospel Dream is, aptly, an Idol-like competition where aspiring gospel/Christian singers compete to realize their dream and win a recording contract with Sony/BMG's Zomba Gospel division. George's first role in the show will take place at the June 17 NYC auditions, so if you're planning on trying out, chances are you'll get to meet the one and only! The televised show will air on the Gospel Music Channel in the fall.
Also on George's agenda this month: a hometown visit and a spot at a huge Christian music festival. First, he'll be performing at the Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans, on June 24. As you may recall, George's city (including his own neighborhood) was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina last year. A sure-to-be-warm homecoming is in store when he shows up to sing at this music festival. Also, the Huff will be joining over 40 other Christian recording artists at the Creation Fest in Mt. Union, PA on June 29.
After a recent week-long run in St. Paul, Diana DeGarmo of Season 3 is hitting the road again, this time staking ground in Hartford, CT for her traveling musical, Brooklyn. If you can make it down to the William H. Mortensen between June 20 and 25, you can catch Diana in Brooklyn before it moves on. The tour won't be ending until August, so again, summer is a great time to try and get out to one of these shows. It'll be a night you won't regret...it's Diana, remember?
Season 4 runner-up Bo Bice is returning to VH1 in "VH1 Classic Decades Rock Live", where he'll be reinventing some old Lynyrd Skynyrd songs along with other guests, such as 3 Doors Down and Hank Williams, Jr. You might remember Carrie joining this show to sing Heart covers (big hair and "Alone", anyone?). Well now Bo is making the same rounds, taping the show at Trump's Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ on June 23 and invading your TV soon. Tickets are still available; so don't forget to buy yours at DecadesRockLive.com.
Bo is also making his way through Tampa, FL, Stroudsburg, PA and Berea, OH during June. Meanwhile, winner Carrie Underwood happens to be taking the west by storm, stopping in Reno, NV, Salt Lake City, UT, Nampa, ID, and Grand Junction, CO. Later in the month, she'll also be visiting Cadott, WI, Greenville, SC, and N. Charleston, SC. For dates for these two special Idols, make sure to check BoBice.com and CarrieUnderwoodOfficial.com.
Now for Idols on the tube! Readers know I love doing this part, because while tour dates aren't for everyone, we can all still get our Idol fixes within the comfort of our homes. So here we go, for all of us who are too hot and sweaty to dare go outside.
First on the list is Josh Gracin. Before he takes on his summer shows, Josh will sing the national anthem at the Michigan International Speedway for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series 3M Performance 400. Be sure to catch the race, or at least Josh's song, on June 18 (it'll be televised on FOX).
While he continues preparing for the release of his sophomore album, Josh is appearing back on CMT, starring in an episode of a new series, called "Unsung Stories." In the show, Josh and a Nashville songwriter pair up and write a song for Army Medic Billie Grimes, who served soldiers and journalists in Baghdad after they were injured by a grenade explosion. Although the premiere of Josh's episode was this Friday, it'll be re-aired at 2:30AM and 10:30PM on Friday, June 23. Later, Josh will be trying out his acting skills in a guest role on daytime's #1 drama, "The Young and the Restless", June 29. Don't forget to set your TiVos!
It's a little late notice, but that long-anticipated episode of "Fear Factor: Reality TV Stars" finally aired this past Tuesday on NBC. Don't fret though, there's still plenty to go around. After the first week's stunt of Survivor's Jonny Fairplay and Twila Tanner ramming a racecar into Season 4's Anthony Fedorov and Season 2's Carmen Rasmusen, the two Idols still survived (and won a trip to Kenya). Also this week, a messy challenge found Carmen facing a ferocious alligator and Anthony wading through deep mud - shirtless. Yes, you did read that last sentence correctly, in case you're doing a double-take. Anyway, Part 2 will be on NBC this Tuesday (June 20), and Part 3 airs the Tuesday after that (June 27). Hopefully, we'll see the "kids of the competition" fight it out to the end!
Of course you can see Kimberly Caldwell on the TV Guide Channel anytime you'd like, but she'll be making a special appearance on "Glenn Beck", Monday, June 19. The show will air at 9PM on CNNH. Also, if you happen to be scanning that TV Guide Channel, you may come across a new promo for Walgreens Kim recently starred in.
Remember kind-hearted Anwar Robinson from Season 4? He hasn't gone anywhere, believe it or not. Coming back to television after a while, Anwar is scheduled to appear on "Naomi's New Morning", hosted by Naomi Judd, on June 25 at 10AM. The show can be found on the Hallmark Channel.
Before I wrap up this shortened (believe it or not, it is) Idol Chasers update, I'd like to bring you an update and shout-out for our Idol Dads and Grads. First to graduate this year was 23-year-old Carrie Underwood, who, despite her busy schedule, managed to earn enough credits in her senior year to graduate magna cum laude from Northeastern State University on May 6. Although Idol brought an abrupt interruption to her schooling, Carrie successfully earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in mass communications, with an emphasis in journalism. News broadcasting? A surefire backup plan. In the near future for this country superstar? Not likely.
We can't ignore our high school graduates; so of course, a big loud and peppy "congratulations" is in order for Season 4 finalist, Mikalah Gordon, who earned her high school diploma on June 14. For a girl who's only 18 years old, she's sure gained more TV experience than most TV personalities did when they were in high school.
I promised to celebrate the Idol Dads too, so here's a big "Happy Father's Day" to Season 2's Josh Gracin, father of 4-year-old Brianna and 10-month-old Landon, Season 3's Matt Rogers, father of 2-month-old Brayden, Season 4's Scott Savol, father of 5-year-old Brandon, Season 4's Bo Bice, father of 8-month-old Aidan, and Season 5's Chris Daughtry, stepfather of 7-year-old Hannah and 6-year-old Griffin.
If you got a chance to pick up this past week's issue of People Magazine, little Aidan Bice was featured in the "Baby of the Year" article, while he and Bo were also in the "Hollywood's Hottest Dads" article at People.com. In other news, this month it was announced that Josh Gracin's wife, Ann Marie, is expecting their third child, due later this year.
Whether or not you're an American Idol, here's a happy Father's Day to all you dads out there, and a congratulations to the new grads as well. You deserve it! I'll be back with my full-fledged Idol Chaser Round-Up, so check back soon!
Signing off for Idol Chasers this week.

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Chaka Khan, Clint Black and Michael Bolton are among the pop stars who will be part of "Celebrity Duets," a new Fox TV show that pairs singers and celebrities trying to prove they can carry a tune.

Other singers taking part: Cyndi Lauper, Smokey Robinson, Dionne Warwick, Brian McKnight, Macy Gray, Patti LaBelle, Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx, Randy Travis and Aaron Neville. More pop stars will be joining the show, Fox said Monday at a Television Critics Association meeting.

Composer-arranger David Foster, who has worked with Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand and whose stepsons were in the Fox's reality series "The Princes of Malibu," will be among the judges.

The Philippines has become the 35th country to get hold of the Idol franchise. And after scouring the whole country in search for singing talents, Philippine Idol is now ready to launch the competition proper.
In the past two months, fast track screenings and auditions were held in key cities across the nation to find fresh new talents who will vie for the title of the very first Philippine Idol. Thousands of Filipinos, some flying in from abroad, took a shot at becoming the fist Philippine Idol. Many tried out more than once to pursue the dream.
Expected to replicate the world-famous American Idol, Philippine Idol is poised to make it big in the country as the first-ever local reality TV, singing competition and real-life drama rolled into one entertaining package. The local Idol will be the fifth in Asia. The others are in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and India. AI was inspired by Pop Idol, which originated in the United Kingdom in 2001.
Philippine Idol premieres Sunday July 30.

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Simon Cowell has allegedly been cheating on his girlfriend of four years with a 21-year-old model.
The 'X Factor' star, whose girlfriend is Terri Seymour, was seen locked in a passionate clinch with socialite Jasmine Lennard on Tuesday (25.07.06) in front of an upstairs window at his home in London's Holland Park.
Jasmine was pictured arriving at Simon's house in a limousine at midnight wearing a fur coat in the 81F heat, which she later peeled off to reveal sexy black lingerie.
The pair headed upstairs at around 1.30am where a lamp silhouetted them sharing a steamy embrace in the window. Jasmine was photographed leaving an hour later.
It is believed the pair have been having an affair since Seymour, 32, started a career as a TV presenter meaning she has been away from the £7.5 million mansion which she shares with Cowell working in Los Angeles.
Jasmine, who had to checked into The Priory last year, has so far refused to answer questions about her relationship with Cowell.
Speaking from her terraced house in Fulham, London, on Wednesday night (26.07.06) she told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm not interested. There's absolutely no story at all. I'm not talking."
A spokesman for Cowell has denied they are having an affair, saying: "Simon has known Jasmine for some time. They had a meeting to discuss TV projects."
