A new Broadcast Performance Video is now posted in the media section. This video includes some things you may have seen before, but there is new footage of Jon singing "California Christmas" in concert. I would like to see more of that performance. Jon was in fine voice that night. Plus, I finally figured out what some of the lyrics are that I have been wondering about and guessing entirely wrong!

Besides the fact that Jon was clearly performing "California Christmas" in a huge venue with a big screen and the fact that he sounded wonderful, I was also struck in the clip by how marvelous the guy accompanying Jon sounded on guitar. His fingers really were flying! I may not be the best judge of guitar playing, but I'd say that guy is immensely skilled. I wonder if that is Jon's cousin Blake Mills. I couldn't see his face very well, and I'm not sure what Blake looks like, but that guitar work really helped make the song lively and entertaining.
