"Jon to Perform Live on KCET Christmas Eve
Jon will be performing his latest original Christmas song, "California Christmas" during the six-hour, live broadcast of the 47th Annual L.A. Holiday Celebration. The show is an admission-free holiday gift to the people of Los Angeles. This KCET exclusive is performed before an audience of more than 6,000 in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of the Music Center."

http://www.holidaycelebration.org/"Since 1964 the Commission has produced a Holiday Celebration in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of the Music Center on December 24th. The program honors the spirit of many cultures and holiday traditions through music, song and dance.
Community and professional choirs, music ensembles, folk and traditional artists, and dance companies perform for an audience in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion while the program is broadcast live throughout Southern and Central California on KCET.
Attendance and parking are free. No reservations or tickets are necessary. Doors open at 2:30pm. Seating is first come, first served. Attendees can arrive at any time and stay as long as they wish.
Since 2002 the Commission has produced a one-hour television special of selected Holiday Celebration performances for national broadcast by PBS."

Sean Michael Afable, Charles Phoenix, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Sandra Tsing Loh, and Fred Willard will be among the hosts of the 47th Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration, which will take place on Sunday, December 24 from 3pm to 9pm at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. In addition, the entire show will be broadcast live on KCET.
This free event will host more than 45 musical ensembles, choirs, dance companies, and individual performers, including former American Idol contestants Amanda Avila and Jon Peter Lewis, the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, the Golden State Pops, the Opera California Youth Choir, and the Mariachi Divas.

So basically, between the live audience and the television audience, this show will allow hordes of people to hear Jon sing.
