If anyone has Kat's cell phone number, would you please either give her a call to let her know about this or give me the number and I will call her. The number I had for her from last summer is no longer working. Thanks.

I don't have her number anymore either. When my cellphone got damaged by water it fried all my numbers.

And thanks for trying to help Paula. I would hope Jon or Judy or somebody would mention the other shows to Kat since I imagine Kat will find a way to talk to Jon.

^^^ LOL LOL LOL Yeah I did.

I ended up going to all three shows actually and I am beat!

It was a total BLAST! I got to hear "Plastic On the Inside" for the first time as well as the "Columbus Song". I even found out why and how the "CS" got written.

The show out in Parsons was a really nice sit back and enjoy kind of show. They did end up bringing the kids over from the Elementary School. They asked a lot of really GOOD questions of Jon afterwards. I got pictures I need to develope and post of that.

The "Jazz House" was FANTASTIC! BTW, to Matt, I better see you posting on here. Wink The guy Matt I just mentioned stood up after one of Jon's songs and screamed "Beautiful" to describe Jon's playing and so then Jon was like "alright" and sang it. I stuck around after Jon left and everyone that I talked to said they were impressed by him.

The "Bottle Neck"- this is where I heard "Plastic On the Inside" for the first time and FELL IN LOVE with it, GREAT SONG! We kind of just got to throw request at him since this show was an hour long. What was really cool is even those who worked at the bar would stop and just listen to JP.

Again I got pictures and so did others. I hope to see them posted here shortly.

Sorry I made this so quick but I literately JUST got back into my town. I wanted to make sure I got something posted as soon as possible though.

All I can say is there are now soooo many of Jon's new songs stuck in my head. This new album is beyond wonderful and he didn't even play every song off there as all three shows were acoustic. Then again I loved it, Jon has such an amazing voice. I MUST HAVE THE NEW ALBUM, M.U.S.T!

I hope there are a lot more of you who get a chance to see him live. So worth the drive!

Kat, I'm very happy that you got to go to all 3 shows. One thing I noticed about the 3 shows I saw recently is that Jon made each show somewhat different, so I was able to hear something new at each show.

Of the new album songs I heard, I really like "Something Almost Sacred," but then again "Bridges" and "Everybody Falls" are also wonderful. The truth is, it is much too hard to choose a favorite. I wish "Columbus" could have been on the album since that one does stand out for me. But right now, of the new album's songs Jon has either released or sung at a show I've gone to, "Beautiful" (not to be confused with "Tonight") is the one that somehow impacts me the most.

Did the second graders get to meet Jon? I hope so. That would be cute. Do you have any idea why these particular second graders were so very eager to hear Jon? Could it have been their teacher who influenced them??? I can kind of picture it: "Now class, your reward for walking in from lunch so quietly is that we will all listen to some Jon Peter Lewis music while we do this worksheet." People do have some inventive ways to get to hear Jon's music whenever and however they can. Flower Not that I would know anything about such stuff.

Kat, I'm so glad you got to go to all the shows in your area! (Again!) I'm super jealous you know. Seems like Jon totally forgot about the Northwest. hmpf.. I guess Hollywood has gone to his head and he totally forgot where he came from! (J/K!) Wink I know he was born in Nebraska and all, but he did live in Seattle for a time and also in Idaho! You whoooo... up here Jon! Yeah, we have a deficit of good live music so it would be great if you could help us out.

I'm so glad you got to go hear jon again, Kat. I wish he's play in Atlanta too, as I know a bunch of people who'd go hear him sing there. I just got back from there, and got to go to a couple of great a capella concerts while I was visiting. The FOX Theatre is an incredible venue too, although perhaps a bit big for now.

HI! Sorry guys, I get distracted easily.

I was just swinging by the boards real quick. As far as the pictures go EVEN THOUGH I remembered to take pictures and EVEN THOUGH I took almost a whole roll, the pictures didn't really turn out. Razz

I'll see what I can do to share as many as I can. Including the second grader pictures.

I am not sure how they knew about Jon but the kids got to ask a lot of questions of JP. Then after everything the kids got in a long line and Jon signed autographs for all of them while sitting on the edge of the stage. It really was the cutest thing ever.

As far as a favorite songs goes... "I could no sooner pick a favorite star in the heavens."- Everafter

I have always loved "Tonight" and now even the different "Beautiful" is a favorite. I think the other song I really loved was called "Now That I'm Kneeling". I also really liked "Everybody Falls" and "Bridges". He did such a great job. The album really can't come out soon enough for me.
