"Jon will be joining Kimberly Caldwell, Lindsay Cardinale, Mikalah Gordon along with other performers for this very worthwhile event benefiting the Northwest Missouri Children's Advocacy Center. The event will take place on January 14th at the Civic Arena in St. Joseph, MO. Tickets are $10 - $20, available on Ticketmaster or through the Civic Area box office. (800) 821-5052"
I remember telling Jon if he did a show within a ten hour drive and on a Saturday, I would SO be there. Well this is only 7hrs and on a Saturday so I'm going!
That and with plenty of notice in advance and it being so centralized in the country I'm hoping more fans will be joining me too. Anyone else going to go???
I'm going to a wedding that day just an hour away from there, sadly. I don't think I can get away with missing it. But I'm going to check the time on the invitation when I get it...perhaps it's an afternoon wedding.
I wish I could go Kat. It would be fun but I am waiting for him to come the NW for now. I look forward to your report!

The wedding is at 4, and it looks like I might only be half an hour away. Chillicothe, Missouri. So, it's possible I could attend and take my son, who's best friend's wedding we're going to that afternoon. I must find out more about the reception.
The show is on a Sunday, not a Saturday. January 14th, 2006 was on a Saturday but January 14th, 2007 is on a Sunday
I run Kim Caldwell's website and I'm going to be there. It's my hometown. Woo!
Anyone who can attend should definitely check it out. It's for a fabulous cause and I think there is going to be some type of meet and greet before the concert.
Thanks for the info Kristin. Hope you have a great time seeing Kim and Jon!

LoL, You are right Kristin, it is Sunday not Saturday. Oh well guess I need to take Monday off, It's doesn't matter to me, 7 hrs compaired to everywhere else he preforms at, that's too close not to go.
Kristen, thanks for stopping by. It is neat that Jon and Kim have gotten to do so many things together. Let's hope the weather behaves for them. If you have any tips for those attending the show, please let us know. Kat and Jill, if you go, take some photos of Kim too since her fans are nice.
**************************** California Christmas this year.
I don't have many tips yet. I am pretty sure that if you got a $10 ticket, it's first come, first serve seating so you might want to get there early. The $20 floor seats are assigned at tables.
I know there is going to be some type of meet and greet event. We don't have it completely finalized yet but I know it will be before the show and I think it'll probably start around 5:45ish.
If you need an idea of good places to stay or anything, you can email me @ kristin@kimberly-caldwell.com and I'll be more than willing to help you with any info like that!

Thanks so much Kristin! Only floor seats will do for me, I better get them fast huh. I have waited so long to see him perform and I'm driving like 14 hrs, so I better get to be up close. Not to mention all the other talented people that will be there. How does that "meet and greet" thing work. I know I asked on another board but really I'm that lost in the sauce.
The Idols, including JPL, will probably be at a table in the venue before the show to sign autographs/meet fans. Just make sure you have your ticket to the event (you'll have to have a ticket to the concert to get into the meet and greet) and you can bring something specific you want them to sign and that's pretty much how the meet and greet will work.
Oh yeah... I just got my hotel room today. Now I just need to figure gas and tolls :P I hate tolls. They said it starts at 7pm so that gives me enough time to get checked in and ready for the show. Sammy when you go to buy your ticket tell me, esp. if you get a table or "floor seat", I got one. I could call and see if there is any spots left at my table...
The weather is going to be not very good this weekend for the event -- boo! It's going to be freeeezing! But it looks like the worst of it is going to be Friday. By Sunday, other than maybe a little snow in the morning, it shouldn't be too bad. Let's hope, anyways!
