On Saturday, Oct. 13 Jon and Sky Elobar will perform at Harvest Fest in Freeman Park, Idaho Falls, ID. They will hit the stage at 4:00 p.m. for this community celebration. It will be a great show, so come out and enjoy some outstanding music from Jon and Sky.
According to the Harvest Fest site, it looks as if Jon's set will run for an hour. I know we have people on this forum who have attended shows in Idaho Falls before. Does anyone plan to go to this and give us a report?
Update 10/15--This video from channel 8 KIFI in Idaho Falls features a brief clip of Jon singing at Harvest Fest.

I'd like to go, but I've had 3 trips since the end of July.. not sure but probably not.

I look forward to hearing about it! Hope it's fun Orange and TenBu.

I hope that anyone attending this will have a great time. If you are not sure where this is, I believe this site shows an accurate map of the place. Apparently, Freeman Park is just north of the Mormon temple and is next to the river.
If Jon sings the Columbus song, I'd be much obliged if someone would record the whole thing and put it on youtube. Tenbu, what other shows of Jon's have you seen?
And Lisa, what a most excellent idea! I don't think we've seen any photos of Jon holding a baby, and Orange's baby is one of the cutest I've ever seen. However, Jon would have to be prepared to be upstaged by a toddler.

Unfortunately Rich, Moira and I came down with something and weren't feeling up to going today (believe me, I have to be really sick to miss Jon!). Bummer!
I was really looking forward to Moira experiencing her first JPL concert out of the womb! Hopefully there'll be another chance soon.
That's too bad you had to miss it, Orange! I hope everyone will be feeling well very soon.
I was able to get a concert report from someone who prefers not to post him/herself. For this concert, Jon (playing acoustic guitar) was joined by Sky on bass and Ben on a second acoustic. I'm happy to hear Ben was there since Ben is talented and nice and well-grounded. He is quite smart about many things too. Jon did sing the Columbus song, so that rocks. I sure hope I get to hear that song one of these days. He also sang "Plastique on the Inside," and a medley that may not have been his typical soul medley, and "Hoochie Coochie Man," "Rodeo," something Sky had written about a Hollywood girl or L.A. girl or something, and of course songs from the album. I'm not sure what all else he may or may not have sung, but I may be able to get more info eventually.
I also hope TenBu or someone else who was there will give y'all more of a report and perhaps some photos. Since Jon had sung last night at Molly Malone's, he would have had another late night or crack-of-dawn flight followed by a performance in the afternoon. The man has energy.

Sorry you were not able to go, Orange. I hope you and your family feel better real soon! I'm sure there will be other opportunities.

It was nice to see the video, even if it was short. Thanks Arts. It looked like a fun time!
