Jon will return to L.A.'s famed Viper Room on this Friday, Dec. 15. The starting time, as announced on this site, is 8:00 p.m., but I don't know if that is when doors open or when the show actually starts. The Viper Room site does not list a time for the doors to open yet. Jon is performing with 3 other bands--PUDGE ZEPPELIN, OLIVER FUTURE, and TIM. It may be wise to arrive earlier than 8:00 in any case, especially since this time Jon is performing on a Friday night and the venue ought to fill up more quickly. Can anyone make this show and give a report?

You know I wish I could! I’m sure some of his good friends right there in LA should be going tonight but the question is "are any of them affiliated with the fan site?" I hope some are!

OK... here's the scoop on the Viper Room show Friday night. Jon's performance was incredible, as usual. The band sounded spectacular and Jon was in top form! They played a new song during the show called "Don't Push Your Luck." It's a fantastic song and one you'll be hearing again during his shows. Jon has been writing a lot of new songs lately and is excited to start playing them. He's getting ready for the Rockin' Holidays show in Bakersfield and his acoustic performance in Salt Lake City. He's anxious to hit the road across the country in 2007, so keep checking back for updates!

Great news! Thanks so much for the report, judy. I too am really excited about the prospect of jon touring in 2007. It looks like I am going to be phenomenally close to the St. Jo show (as in, in St. Jo that morning), but will have to head home before that evening. Sigh. So, I've got to look forward to 2007. New songs are good news.
I knew we could count on you for a report Judy. Thanks! I'm very happy to hear the tour is being planned. He really does need to come to the D.C. area since he has lots of fans in the general D.C. area. And I want to meet up with them.
Was anyone else out there at the Viper Room show? It is great to get multiple reports. We need more people in L.A. who are willing to post. And I'm not planning on moving anytime soon.
