Someone suggested to me that I might want to start a thread where we could have one place to discuss any lyrics to any of Jon's songs. I feel uncomfortable about posting up complete lyrics from the unreleased clips on Jonnythecockaroo, but we can talk about any spots we aren't sure about. Feel free to disagree with anything I think I am hearing since I am not always able to make out what he is saying. Besides, having multiple possibilities makes it more fun. The first one I wanted to ask everyone about is "Beautiful Girl." In the more difficult part to make out, I am hearing something like:
Jonny was a stranger . . . . . . danger Tell me where the wind blows I can raise your eyebrows.
The first time he sings the chorus, it almost sounds as if he sings the word "direction" before the stranger part, but the second time I think that word might rhyme with stranger.
What do y'all hear? Make a wild stab! I will correct this first post if people think it is something different. I will also try to add the difficult parts of other songs to this first post as we decide (or guess) what those partial lyrics are. So please jump in everyone. Post what you are hearing on the hard parts of other songs or ask about the sections you want to know about and we all can try to strain our ears to come up with something.

OK...I know this isn't right, but it's really funny. Whenever I hear this one, I keep hearing "Jonny was a freak show"...now when I really listen, I can hear it's not that, but since it amuses me, it has sort of stuck with me...lol.
