Would everyone please help Jon out on something? The album Curtain Call: Volume I, featuring three of Jon's songs, is in fact supposed to be in Walmart stores now. I have been asked to collect info on just which stores do and, more importantly, don't have the CD yet. So it would be very helpful if folks would double check now with their local Walmart stores to see if the shipments have come in. Then please let me know what you find out either way. I would need to know where your Walmart stores are and what they say about the album's availability.
If you don't want to reveal your location to the world, please send the info in a Private Message to me. I will not reveal your location to shady characters or anything, but getting this information pinned down will be very helpful to the distribution company. Also please report on any Walmarts you may visit while out of town.
Thanks very, very much everyone!

As much as I would LOVE to help Jon, we don't actually have Walmarts in Australia, and as usual my country is always last to get awesome stuff like JPL music.
Wal~Mart has no control over what they get in as far as music (or movies) goes... Another company rents space in the stores for the music... And most of the time if someone asks about a cd, by the time the Music Reps come in, the associates have forgotten what they were looking for and forget to ask the Reps... Not only that, sometimes the other company can't get the cd in at that time either.. If you were to ask the Reps from the company that your Wal~Mart is using, they would have a better chance of getting the album than just the Electronics Associates... An easier way to get the album would be to buy a gift card and then go to walmart.com and buy it there...
Jolie, once we get a report on which stores don't seem to have the CD, then the right person from the distribution company will look into getting it to those stores. The distribution company wants to make sure that most Walmarts actually will have the album in stock at the physical store. Some stores may still get missed, but we can help make sure the majority have it. Your insider knowledge is very helpful. Will you check tomorrow to verify that your store still doesn't have it? Then let me know the name of the town where your Walmart is. Thanks so much! Something real will actually be done with this info once it is collected. Your store is one that the distribution company REALLY needs to get the CD to since I know you have done a good job of promoting Jon there.

Great idea, arts! I had to look for the nearest store at walmart.com. I suspect that most in the DC area will have the CD, since DC is one of the major music markets... but then, I don't really know how they may think this album will best distribute.
People in the US can also buy it online. (And leave a review at the WalMart site!)
I have it!!! We had a delayed release on this one.. It happens sometimes, we got it in this week instead of last week... (Of course part of that might have been because I had said something to one of our Reps about the album before it was released...)
My Walmart has the Cd now too. Guess where I found it?????? Of all places, in the gospel section! My store has a main aisle with music on either side, but the CD was around the corner on another aisle where there was a gospel section. The CD was on one of the little extra racks that sit at eye level.
This one is not an official request or anything, but would y'all try running the CD under one of the sample player thingies in your Walmarts and let me know if you able to hear any songs play? Sometimes, those players are broken, but at my store, the player worked for other albums, just not for this one. The little screen came up with a message about how they don't have info on the CD. I think it would be important for people to be able to play the samples of the songs on this CD.

The scanners don't have info for every cd... Sometimes with a new cd it takes a few weeks for it to get the information, but sometimes they never do... The ones at our store are down, they've been down for six months now... LOL
We have 5 Wal-Marts within a 25 mile radius of me. The one I was in a little over a week ago didn't have it, at least I couldn't find it. I did find an associate who tried to help me by looking it up on that computer thing they have by the check out stand in the music area. She couldn't even work the computer and kept having to start over and she couldn't even find the music section on the computer and so after about 10 minutes I said, "That's okay, never mind", and I left. I ran out of time and had things to do. I'll try again another time and report what I find.

Ok I am crappping out on this one already. Sorry guys. I have yet to go to my local Walmart. But in my defense our 24 hour Walmarts had to close last night because the weather in South West Oklahoma has been that bad. If I get a chance tomorrow I'll go have a look see in both the local Walmarts.
Ok I made up for it. I bought the darn thing to when I found it. What can I say? Wal-Mart got me again. Oh yeah, mine was in the "American Idol" section next to Carrie Underwood's new CD and Bucky's too. When I picked it up, a whole row of the “Curtain Call” had already been sold. So yea! Okies sure like their American Idol.
Now on to the mournful news. I thought they only "*******" {bleeped] JP's songs on the websites player but they did it on the CD too. It makes Jon sound all explicit and such in "Boy Next Door" then two songs later it happens again for the same word in “Man From Amsterdam.” From what I can tell no one else is "*******" even for the A word, Apple. hehehehe
I was in my car when I first listened to it and the first time around when I heard it I was Whooing! all loud at the missing lyric. Then I replayed it again and shouted the missing word at the top of my lungs every time it was censored. I just think it is the funniest and most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. This website has to be the most politically correct website I have ever seen but yet our saintly Mr. Lewis’s songs are getting censored on a CD where others are using actual swear words. Well from what I think I am hearing anyway.
