I'm going to put this under music since there are some other important announcements under concerts.
Some videos of Jon's Borders concerts have been posted on youtube. I found them while looking for video to show someone who has been out of the loop lately. So I'm posting these links simply as a fan since these are not official videos of Jon or anything. They are, nevertheless, very good videos.
Hahahahahahahaha...he's wearing flip-flops. Funny to see his little toes bouncing up and down.
Thanks for posting these Arts!!!

It is Jon singing "Have I Told You" at The Launchpad, Albuquerque New Mexico. Thanks Drillerswife7!

I don't know who that is but she is the same person who I got my version of "Beautiful" from for my myspace page. It is rough but it gives me a chance to hear when ever I want. Sending a little prayer out, "Please God let “Beautiful” be JP's next single and have it come out soon. Amen." lol, sorry that one is my favorite song of his so far.

Well you did a really nice job, tizmiz. Can you tell us more about these shows? What else did Jon sing? Were there many people there? You obviously got to meet Jon--how was that?
I was actually looking for Lisa's videos when I stumbled on tizmizlziz's. The person I was trying to update had the album, but hadn't heard any of the newer songs. I STILL really want someone to record the Columbus song. We just had Columbus Day, so I kept thinking about that song. Other singers have sung about gypsies, wh*res, love, etc., but I doubt anyone has sung about Columbus. I really think the song will use Columbus as a metaphor for Jon's musical voyage, and that would be brilliant. But until I can get all the lyrics, I can't be sure.
Looks as if I'm hollering and whining again . . . . I want the Columbus song.
**************************** California Christmas this year.
Arts, you should go to Iowa for a concert, then you might get to hear the Columbus song! Just a suggestion.

I went to 2 of his shows...and I was SO happy he finally came to az! At the first one, there were maybe 10-15 people there, and the speaker system wasn't working right so he just scooted a little closer, and then in the middle of one of the songs, one of his guitar strings broke! But he made do, and all of his songs sounded amaaazing. I really liked listening to him without a mic, because it just showed how powerful his voice is. The next night, he had a sound system and all of his strings (haha) and that was nice because then it was a little bit different from the first night, and equally as awesome!
Let's see what I can remember about the songs he sang..now I don't know the names of some, but he sang his Stripper song, the one about plastic surgery, the Columbus one (darn, too bad I didn't record that!), Rodeo (and the second night he told me I HAD to sing along because he knew I knew it), and hmm, I can't remember what else off the top o' my head.
And as for meeting him, I was so happy. I was thinking to myself "hey, 3 years ago I was watching him dance around to 'A little less conversation' and now I get to talk to him!" He was sooo nice, and I commented on his height, but I hope he knew that I meant it in an extremely awesome way, because I looove short guys.
If you can't tell by my spastic typing...it was so much better than I expected and I can't seem to stop listening to his CD.
Oh, and on Columbus day, I was also thinking about that song .
