Tune it to Idol Waves Radio here, and be sure to give the song a thumbs up whenever it plays and also to wishlist it by clicking on the + sign. Both types of votes will count. However, apparently only one vote of each type will count, so it doesn't help to vote or wishlist multiple times per spin of the song. It would be much fun to see the song hit #1. And, in all seriousness, Radio Free Truckee has added Jon's new single. Jon and trucks--a natural combination, apparently. Let's see. Where did it all start? I can remember talking about trucks when the AI 3 top 10 sang "Soul Man" on Ryan's show. As I recall, I decided to call one of Jon's dance moves "the double-clutch" since the way he pumped his leg looked rather like a trucker. That video would be fun to see again. I also remember him posing in front of a huge yellow truck with Steve Young. Is that pic floating around anywhere? What other truck associations have there been?
(I guess Truckee is really a town in CA, but it is still just Jon's karma to be linked to trucks.)

I was watching this scary movie the other day, starring Ryan Kwanten (he's an Aussie actor who lives and works in the US). It was called Dead Silence, and was about a crazy old woman and her malevolent doll collection. I couldn't believe how much Ryan looked like our Jon in that movie. My first reaction when Ryan's character came on screen was "when did JPL make a movie and not tell us!"
Not related to trucks of course, but I just thought I would share.
This week "Break the Silence" is rated "Hot" on UU-BRU. I'm am not sure what that means entirely, but apparently the song has a 5-star rating on live365. This song has "hit" written all over it. It is also holding steady at Idol Waves at #4.
And back to the truck talk-- Firetrucks should also come to some people's minds, not that I ever got into the firetruck talk.

I got some clarification on what "Hot" means. It does mean that the song has a 5 star rating on all of live365, not just this one station. The ratings are only visible to the broadcasters. This week, on UU-BRU, "Break the Silence" is rated as a "Prime Mover" since it has jumped 8 spots in the rankings in just 2 weeks!
At Rose Radio, Jon's first album, "Stories From Hollywood" is featured on a cool widget at the top of the page. It's quite fun to play with, to be honest. If you hold one of the arrow buttons down, you can make all the idols spin crazily. And Jon is all over their chart too. But go play with the widget!

Holy Shnikies everybody! Jon has 3 weeks at #1 and is still up there on Idol Waves AND is still getting more requests on land based radio. "Break the Silence" is at number 75 AND STILL going up. In fact the chart thing said it had 5 more "spins" then it did last week. Whatever that means but go JON!
