Ken Barnes has posted a review of Jon's new album on his blog with USA Today. It's a positive review from a reviewer who tends to be rather critical and particular. Several readers have already commented on how they like Jon and his music, so take a moment to add your own words of support for Jon's new album on this widely read blog.
**************************** California Christmas this year.
Yeah, there are some not-so-nice comments but you will always get those, no matter who the band or singer is. My thought is they don't have to like Jon as long as I don't have to like all the junk they listen to.

I know, but if people can't say something nice, they shouldn't say anything at all - I know what it's like to be on the receiving end of others negativity lately, and it can't be very nice for Jon. Still, at least he knows we're loyal to him and love his music.
I'm also a bit jealous of other people listening to the album before us.
Ok I might be saying it this way because of the time of the morning or I just because I really wish to be this blunt.
Some people in this world are true blow hards. The first poster is a perfect example of a person who was not breast feed and scarcely loved as a child. Let it be a lesson to the rest of us, momma don't let your babies grow up to be a*holes.
I agree that Ken Barns' review was pretty good, coming from him and all. It's some of the dumb comments that I didn't care for, but everyone has a right to say as they please, good or bad.
And yes, I am extremely jealous that Ken already got his copy. Hmm maybe I should ask him if I could have it when he is done with it. Maybe I'll post that, haha.

Okay, I posted. It seems that post from the nasty person that commented first is gone. Good. It was rather rude. I think it is fine to state your opinion on something and be honest if you don't like it, but to make rude comments is not appropriate.

I'm so glad! Jon needs good publicity and positive comments at this time, so I'm glad that whoever deleted the nasty comment did so. The person is probably jealous of Jon's talents.
Kat, you crack me up! Lack of breast-feeding being responsible for a delinquent mind. Or better yet, maybe the person who posted it was just *you-know-what* from watching too much Three's Company and just needs to get...well you know...
Reminds me of something Bette Midler once said..."If you're cracking up because of having lack of shacking up, then why don't you pack it up and find yourself a crazy kind of love?"
I'm not sure I'd call that a review. At least not a thorough one; he only does those of albums he likes or of certain idols he deems more news worthy. That is surprising he did like this album better. Ken Barnes is a nerd in my opinion and only certain types of music is going to please him! Even the the bad review (his idea of a review) he gave "Stories From Hollywood" didn't bother me that much. At least he did find it worthy to be reviewed; so a negative review is better than not being mentioned, in my opinion. Every thing Jon does is noteworthty, or course, and at least Ken Barnes recognizes that. Of course "Break The Silence" is an awesome song, but gee, I went over there expecting a more in depth review.
