I wanted to post the portion of the liner notes from jon's single that mention people on this website, because I think they all deserve a big thank you from all of us too. And also to let you all know that jon thinks you're special enough to thank on his very first single.

It really is true that much hard work has to go on behind the scenes to make any website a success. In addition, the fans have patiently stuck with Jon and have believed in him and his music. And this website has been a very effective vehicle for getting out information and for keeping people informed. All serious musicians benefit immensely from an active official site to handle news, discussion of all things related to the singer, sale of merchandise, various media, etc . Naturally, any site or entertainer will have people ready to criticize and problems of all kinds that arise. But honestly, if you look at the websites of other American Idol finalists who didn't finish first or second and compare the levels of activity and the content and the usefulness of the various sites, it is very clear what a valuable tool this site is for Jon. Honestly. Run the experiment. I have. Look up the official sites of other finalists from Jon's year and you will see what I mean. Ok. I will help you out. Here are the links to the sites, especially the forums, of other people from Jon's year. Check them out, and you will see why Jon did very well to show appreciation to all his fans and those who have helped him. Jon has such an amazing collection of fans who have contributed to his success in various ways. Go look! It is a very instructive exercise.

These other sites may have strengths, but I have to conclude that this site is truly a great asset to Jon. I hope he will always choose to treat his fans right and remember that they are real people with feelings. He will never be able to please everyone, and he no doubt feels himself pulled in many directions as people all try to give him advice (including me, LOL)
Anyway,a big "well done" to Jon for thanking people and being gracious.
I am glad he is not a singer who is trying so hard to be cool that he forgets to be human.
