Hmm... I don't think of Love Actually and a couple of the others as chick flicks. I guess it depends on how you look at them.
What do you think of...
Casablanca Pride and Prejudice (1995, Colin Firth version) Bridget Jones's Diary (bascially an updated verson of Pride & Prejudice... shockingly also with Colin Firth *ahem*) Truth About Cats and Dogs (totally embarrassed I like this movie) The Princess Bride When Harry Met Sally Sense and Sensibility (1995, Emma Thompson version) The Devil Wears Prada Aliens Legally Blonde GATTACA 50 First Dates
umm... I really want to include things like Sean of the Dead and Die Hard... but I think I may be waaaaaaaay off in the margins on those... haha
OMG I love Chick Flix!!! I'm gonna just list all of them that I like, even if they have already been listed
Thelma & Louise Riding in Cars With Boys The Sweetest Thing Sleepless in Seattle You've Got Mail The Wedding Singer Miss Congeniality Sweet Home Alabama The Banger Sisters Someone Like You How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days When Harry Met Sally Pretty Woman Mona Lisa Smile Where the Heart Is Now and Then Never Been Kissed 13 Going On 30 The Notebook About a Boy While You Were Sleeping A Lot Like Love The Wedding Planner 50 First Dates Jersey Girl In Good COmpany Clueless Josie and the Pussycats Doys on the Side My Best Friend's Wedding Love Actually Save the Last Dance What Women Want 27 Dresses Fool's Gold Ghost Across the Universe The Devil Wears Prada John Tucker Must Die Etc. Etc. Etc.
Some of thses I wouldnt consider to be 'chick flix'... but ok. Would that new movie 'Baby Mama' be considered one? It was desent. The only thing I have against chick flix are that they are extremely predictable... with the exception of few. I mean, in the end, you know the girl always gets the guy yadda yadda yadda. IMO.

I still haven't seen "Baby Mama" yet and I want to see it so bad. To me chick flix are anything that pull at the heart strings without to many things blowing up around the main characters. Although "Pearl Harbor" is a great chick flick, men just like to tell themselves it is an action/drama movie.
