Hey Guys

The wonderful Val Kilmer will be playing a slightly different role in one of his new productions - he will be playing a car!

Yes, you read me correctly, Val will be playing a car.

Not just any car, but KITT, the talking, thinking, feeling car with attitude and more sex appeal than any other sports car on the road today. In many ways, much like Val himself in many ways.

The news was delivered to fans through Val himself on MySpace just moments ago, but I can't seem to get his bulletin to post on a forum, and the news is so fresh, it's not currently on any online news sites.






Val will be the voice of KITT in the updated version of Knight Rider! Personally I would also LOVE to see Val play Michael Knight, the man behind the wheel (complete with leather jacket, blue jeans, sunglasses, and a killer smile), but they've given that role to Justin Bruening.

However, just hearing Val purr through your speakers with just that famous voice will be enough to ensure this Hobbit's interest.

Besides, Val sings and acts much better than David Hasselhoff in my humble opinion. Anyone ready for Val in a lifeguard outfit for a remake of Baywatch??

What! Val can do anything! He has parted the Red Sea, so there!

As for Justin, I don't know him as an actor, so I will reserve judgement until I see the new film. Although, I still say Val would have been a better choice!

lol. I remember I sat in the original Kitt car at Universal Studios, Hollywood, back in 1988. The car talked to you and answered questions, commented on your clothes, etc., so there had to be a person with a hidden camera someplace. It was fun.

As far as I'm concerned, every car should come with Val's voice installed! Or Jon's voice would be cool too - imagine having a car that sings to you as well as talks and chats you up!

I wasn't able to see Knight Rider because it didn't air here. Aussies are always the last to see anything...sometimes I think the rest of the world thinks Australia is on another planet...

Still, I have read reviews, both positive and negative. The positive ones I like, because you know how much I like to defend Val (he's my idol), and as for the negative ones, well, let's just say there's been a Hobbit busy kicking butts all over the Internet...

I don't know who that Hobbit is though...
