Ok, so it is that time of year again...time for the new season of Nashville Star. So, I just wanted to know who else out there is watching this season.

I'll post my thoughts on the premier episode later tonight or tomorrow...for those of you who actaully care. LOL

I don't think I've ever watched this. But I've heard it's good. When is it on and what network?

Sadly, no hot guys this season. :-/ LOL And, this season doesn't seem as good (talent wise) as the past seasons. I think there are only two...maybe three truly good guys and only two girls that are even remotely decent (granted all are better than Erika Jo ). But, to be fair, it was only the first show, so it was hard to judge based on one showing...so before I give any in depth reviews of the show, I'll wait till next week and see if the contestants can step up thier game.

Also, remind me never to complain about the judges on Idol again. Anastasia (?sp) Brown the main judge is horrible. She is right a lot and I do tend to agree with some of what she says...but the way she says it is worse than Simon...she's far more cutting (IMO).

Other than that, I guess I'll wait and see what next week holds before I truly make any critical reviews. But, next week, I will write an indepth review and I will not hold back because if these contestants can't step up their game next week, then they and the USA netowrk is out of luck if they hope to have a decent season.

Ok...I'm going to shut up now before I end up writting a review. LOL

I honestly have no idea. But, they have not had the same judges for more than two seasons. I'm really disappointed that Phil Vassar isn't a judge this year...he was a really good judge. But, on the bright side Blake Shelton is a judge...he may not be a good one, but at least he's better than some of the other judges they've had in the past. LOL

Ok, so I'm watching Nashville Star right now and after the last performance I just had to log in and say...Nashville Star actually has some talent!

Zac Hacker's performance just a minute ago was AMAZING! He sounds a bit like Taylor Hicks (to give you an idea of his sound). He has a very soulful and pleasent tone to his voice. In fact, he was my favorite (or at least tied for favorite) after last week, but he is now my favorite! I loved his performance!

Ok, I'm done being a fangirl for now and going back to watch the last ten minutes of the show. I'll post my full review tomorrow!

Okl, BnL...I know I said there were not hot guys on Nashville Star...and in terms of "hot" there arn't...but I think you might like Zac Hacker! He's got a very soulful southern rock style to him...and I believe he's from Alabama. You should go to the Nasville Star website and check him out. If your interested I could also post the link to his myspace account (which I just found tonight and have not stoped listening to the songs on there since).

And THIS is the link to his MySpace site so you can hear some of his origional songs. He's got a very soulful voice and something about the tone/quality of his voice reminds me a bit of Taylor Hicks. If you listen to his songs let me know if you hear it too. LOL

Oh, and I did see Bo in the audience. I meant to tell you that last night, but I got so excited about Zac's performance that it slipped my mind.

Cool! I think Angela (the sister) is pretty good too. Actually, I think the two of them should be the final two...which would certainly make for an interesting finale. LOL

A lot of my comments are based on song choices, in which I didn't know like half of them. So just a bit biased

I really like Zac! I hope he does Well. I dont think that David has a bad voice, either. I liked his version of "Wave on wave."

I do not like Meg's version of "walking after midnight." It just sounds so....weird. And the purpose of the guitar was...what?

Josh's version of "My Wish" was kind of "rocky" in the beginning. I dont care for him, but it was just ehhh.

I dont like angela. period.

Whitney was just ehhh. Glad she did an upbeat song.

Loved Kacey's choice of song. I dont think she has a strong enough voice to carry on.

I can barely understand what Dustin is saying.

I have watched past seasons, but haven't been watching this year, however, BnL posted a picture of Bo in the audience and I think, it is time to tune in.

I pretty much agree with most of your review, BnL. Have you heard the songs from this past Thursday yet? They were far better than the first week. And, I think you'll really like David and Zac after you hear this past Thursday's songs.

I only watched what was on the nashville star site. Are there other ones?

The ones on the Nashville Star site are still from the first week...they should be updating to this past week soon (within the next day or so) I think. When they do I'll let you know.
