Question:
Does anyone else watch this show?
I love it and I would love to learn some of those dances. As I was watching last night, I had an epiphany.......Jon would be great on that show!!!!! I mean he's fun and energetic and athletic enough to dazzle!

Do you agree? (Why or Why Not?)

Choices:
Yes
No

I seriously think Jon would be great at this show. Joey Macintire had P's partner before, and I can see similarities between joey and jon............

I'm really enjoying this show too. I'm trying to get my kitchen clean so I can watch tonight. Smile

I tell you one thing...Master P is certainly an interesting addition to the show...at first I couldn't stand him...never heard of him...but he was a little more likable last week and at least he was trying. Hard to believe he has lasted this long.

I will miss George's antics. Lisa should not have been in the bottom 2. Drew is my favorite.

I love this show! Im sad the George is leaving as well. He was my second favorite after Drew. He was such fun to watch. I was hoping that Lisa would have been the next to go.

Master P faces trial on gun charges

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A day after appearing on the Dancing With the Stars finale, Master P headed to court Monday where a judge ordered the hip-hop mogul and his younger brother to stand trial on weapons charges.
Last month University of California at Los Angeles police spotted the weapons during a traffic stop. Prosecutors said the officers found a semiautomatic handgun under the seat of Master P, who was the passenger, and a revolver under the seat of his brother, who was driving.

Each was charged with one felony count of carrying an unregistered, loaded firearm. They face up to three years in state prison if convicted, prosecutors said.

Just saw the lineup for the new season of Dancing with the Stars which starts 9/12:
Jerry Springer
Tucker Carlson
Viveca Fox
Mario Lopez
Harry Hamlin
Sara Evans and
Emmitt Smith
Should be fun.

Jerry...Jerry...Jerry...sorry, I couldn't resist. Wink

Is this the final list of stars, for sure?

Anyway, it sounds like an interesting lineup. Mario Lopez is an interesting choice, I'm curious to see how he'll do. And, very interesting that this season Harry Hamlin is going to be on there, since his wife was on last season.

I hope Emmitt is better than Jerry Rice was last year!

I hope so too, Gidget! At least the right person won last year, though.

Oh here are some career highlights:

  • As ringmaster of his eponymous '90s daytime talk show, Springer shed light on the inner workings of trailer parks across the country, often with explosive results. The former Cincinnati mayor now holds court on Air America radio.
  • The bowtie-happy Carlson made a name for himself as a conservative cable pundit on CNN's Crossfire and has since branched out as an MSNBC news anchor. He was also on the receiving end of an on-air verbal beatdown from guest Jon "I'm not your monkey" Stewart last year.
  • Arguably the biggest current star on the roster, Fox battled Uma Thurman in Kill Bill and cozied up to Will Smith in Independence Day.
  • Hamlin is no stranger to Dancing with the Stars, having acted as sideline cheerleader last season in support of wife and third-place finisher Lisa Rinna. He's best known for starring in L.A. Law for five years and most recently had a guest stint on Veronica Mars.
  • Lopez, of course, will forever be known to children of the '80s as Saved by the Bell's resident jock, A.C. Slater. More recently, he made headlines for his blink-and-you-missed-it wedding to onetime Dorito girl Ali Landry.
  • Former BOP pin-up Lawrence played Blossom's "Whoa"-ing big brother Joe throughout the '90s and went on to star in a string of projects with his two look-alike younger brothers.
  • Smith hopes to be this year's Jerry Rice. The future NFL Hall of Famer is a three-time Super Bowl champ with the Dallas Cowboys and the league's all-time leading rusher.
  • Country music songbird Evans looks to add the disco ball to a trophy case full of Country Music and Academy of Country Music Awards. Her fifth album, Real Fine Place, was released last year with its title track debuting in the Top 10.
  • Ford briefly basked in the MTV limelight as one of several short-lived Britney and Christina wannabes, during which time she dated Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and managed to score one hit, "I Wanna Be Bad."
  • Former Miss USA and fledgling actress Moakler hit the headlines just last week when it was announced that she and rocker husband Travis Barker were divorcing . The duo starred for two seasons in their own MTV reality show, Meet the Barkers.
  • Coleman, meanwhile, seems to have the tween vote locked up, having recently starring in the Disney Channel's phenomenally popular High School Musical.
