I have lived in a lot of places over my life, so I have people I really want to reconnect with. Good friends that I just lost touch with over the years. I belong to so many different web sites that help reunite people it isn't even funny.
One is called reunion.com and I love how they have this blog questions to make you have something to blog about. I came across this one that I really liked.
"If you had to chose between having Love and No money or having Money but No love for the rest of your life, which would you chose?
I thought it would be neat to see what you all would answer...
That is an easy question!!!! I was born into a poor family, and well honestly when you have to get by one the bare nessesities you learn a lot.. And the one thing your learn more than anything else.. Is that LOVE concurs all So my answer would be love (But only if I could find love... which in this day doesn't seem to be very easy... In fact one could argue that true love hardly exists anymor... most people just give into lust anymore....)
I'd rather be dirt poor and have love than have all the money in the world and have no love. Love to me is the most important thing in life and as far as money, yeah, having it is nice, but whats the fun in having money if you don't have anyone you love (or who loves you) to share it with. So, in short, I'll take love over money, ANYDAY!
I started to write something and then I was like na, I'll just post part of the blog. I was wondering how the rest of you see it. This is my views:
I think myself a true hopeless romantic, and when I say hopeless I mean HOPE-LESS. I believe in more then anything "love is all you need". What good does all the money in the world do if you are never happy. For me I would never be happy with out the ones I love, especially without the ONE. I would chose love over money any day.
I believe that each soul as its counterpart, the trick is to find them. Yes you can call it believing in "soul mates" but I find that so cliché. I think looking for the proverbial "soul mate" leads to many to think they are looking for that one person without flaw, some one you are always happy with and never makes mistakes. Myself personally I find some "flaws" to be sexy. Like an awkward and shy man, dead sexy in my opinion. Throw in him being SLIGHTLY (notice I said slightly) warped in the head and you have the makings of a great man, at least for me anyway.
Of course the man I love would have to be able to love me back, just as I love him. Otherwise it isn't love at all, just an infatuation. Of course if I am never destined to have that, if my belief turns out to be some make believe fairy tale ending never to come true, HECK YES! Then give me the cash.
