How do you feel about this list? What rules have you learned to live by?

Well for starters, is #1 representative of the effects of American Idol on our culture? and AMEN to #11! The rest require more thought and a thorough reading of the list.

I do this all the time, and people still tell me not to apologise... Tongue

You can’t avoid offending people from time to time. When you don’t mean it, apologize...

I strongly disagree with this one. I despise bigotry in all forms and will not accept that it is a part of all people's nature. Roll Eyes Razz

Prejudice and bigotry is hard-wired into us. You can’t overcome it until you acknowledge it.

This is an important one... Smile

The most valuable thing to have is a good reputation, and it’s neither hard nor expensive to acquire one: Be fair. Be honest. Be trustworthy. Be generous. Respect others.

I totally agree with the next one! Smile

It’s not “political correctness” that dictates that we try not to insult others’ beliefs and identities. It’s common decency.

Cheers, Mikey Smile
