Well, I don't know if any of you remember, but I posted a link to wherethehellismatt.com a while back. I love his blog, and especially his video!
Matt started the site because he was going on a months-long trip and he wanted to keep a blog and update his family and friends on where he was. Later, he posted a video of himself doing a little dance in various places around the world. The video went viral, and Matt got sponsorship for a second trip.
Matt has recently posted the new video to YouTube: Trip 2 video!
He has also posted a talk he gave about his story. It's also on YouTube in three parts: 123
He has some great stories. This guy is super cool.
Here is anotherone of his videos. Man, I envy him!!! I wish like hell I could do that...well not the dancing per se, but the traveling, so amazing!!!

8 is pretty darn good. I have only been to one of the actual locations and 4 of the countries and 2 of the states.
I love the dog in Germany how it stops and watches him for a second then runs off when is doggie friend passes him. And I was scared for him when he was dancing on the rock formation in Norway.
And I totally agree, just watching him makes me smile. I wish I could go with him!

He said that he was nervous about dancing on that rock. I would be too! Apparently, it's a boulder that got lodged in a fjord... there's a 3,000 foot drop below it! And apparently the walls of the chasm act like a wind tunnel, so he's got cold blasts of wind gusting at him while he's dancing on a little rock 3,000 feet in the air. How crazy is that?
His friend, who was holding the camera, was having his own dilemma. He was thinking, 'if Matt falls off that rock, what am I going to do with this footage? sell it?' LOL
Back last year when we talked about this guy I read his blogs, but haven't looked at them since then. I bet with him new adventures there are some good entries. This guy is way cool!

i guess my timing is perfect. i was just thinking to myself that i havnt been on here in so soooooo long and i was gonna go to the old thread that we used to talk to. and then to my suprise im up on there anyway. sorry. i basically turned my super addicive personallity to myspace and making more music and its not that i forgot about this site. no one can forget about this site! its just that i have neglected it. im always like.. ill do it tomorrow ill do it tomorrow etc and then of course tomorrow is always tomorrow and well...it never gets done.
now that i can access this site at work, i think i will be on here alot more now. cause no one likes a desk job.lol
we recorded this buddhist the other day, and he told me to say this chant. it is "the most powerful buddihst chants" so here it is.lol
yes that is the chant that refers to the lotus sutra. using that chant channels all the knowledge contained withing the lotus sutra..or so they tell me. no, its not going into a song, at least not to my knowledge, but maybe i can trick scott into singing it somehow. that would be tricky. my face itches, i think its time for my once-every-two-week-shave.
Hey Matt, nice to see you again. I just saw you on and was looking for that old thread too. Funny how some threads get deleted and others that no one uses stay around forever. Anyway...
I'll have to stop by your myspace and visit. Thanks for thinking of us and stopping in. Always nice to "see a friendly face."
