Part 5: Musical inspiration and the upcoming album

(I think that one is my fave) jon: an old girlfriend.... we'd broken up, but we had just had a great night, the night before Mishtat: i loved mad science too… and I’ve never even heard the whole song! jon: mad science.... I don't know... we'll see Gidget: I liked that one too tizmizzliz: i dont think I’ve ever heard it, *gasp* joliefleur: and the clip that Orange did for us was so cool Mishtat: i'll point you to it, tiz...it is a short clip, but a wonderful song.
Gidget: When you were recording in Henson Studios did you see any ghosts? jon: no, but the ghost of karen carpenter ate my lyrics sheet Gidget: Did anything strange come out on the recordings? tizmizzliz: thank you JPLROCKS77: good questions gidget, i've heard stories it is haunted too Gidget: LOL.... joliefleur: lol jon: i'm serious Gidget: why do you say that? jon: studio B is haunted joliefleur: cuz she was hungry jon: and they say it's by karen carpenter Gidget: right... Gidget: So Jon, do you watch any TV? jon: not anymore with the writers strike happening - but, I like Heroes JPLROCKS77: jon, will we be seeing more of you in theatre or on tv? Gidget: I love that show jon: I watched that, Lost, 24 and a couple more I'm forgetting Gidget: I stopped watching 24 after the first season. But I can't wait for Lost to start again! joliefleur: I don't watch much tv, but I like Bones and House and Grey's Gidget: Right around the same time as Idol...again! Gidget: Will you take part in any thing Idol this year? jon: I don't know.... Gidget: if asked.... Wow Mish. Thanks for working up the transcipt so everyone gets to see it. I need to run off and do some other things for now, but I wanted to thank all of you involved. I didn't enter the contest to be in this chat since I have had several opportunities to chat with Jon in person now and because I thought I would give others a chance. But notice how I can't seem to sit back and behave myself. LOL Thanks so much Gidget and jolie for asking questions for me. Jon's answer about the Karen Carpenter ghost was a terrific story. I had been wanting to get that question answered since seeing a TV show about the Henson studio being haunted. I expect "Turn to Grey" has now become an anthem song for any ghosts there since ghosts are fairly grey themselves!
It looks as though Jon was about to launch into another interesting story right near the end:
"jon: well, you know, what else was I going to do.... jon: ?"
But nobody asked him what he was going to do. Maybe he really was just referring to how he was going to have to leave, but maybe not. Just the way he said it makes me think he was about to launch into something interesting. I want to hear the rest of the story if there IS a rest of a story! Come back Jon! I can't stand cliff hangers!
